Who has the fastest car on /o/?
Like straight line pure power fast.
Like if you took all /o/'s cars and gave them perfect traction and raced who would the fastest be?
>>17791732
Not going to lie it would most likely be me...
Im sure theres faster but ive been 11.91@114 in the quarter in my 96 Z28. Just autotragic with 3200 stall, full exhaust, cold air intake, and a 100shot through a zex dry kit.
>>17791736
nah it would certainly be me.
Here we go again. Here's my fav cars.

This
Made this a while ago.
is the Pontiac g8 a good, cheap, muscle car for starters? just want to get a professionals opinion.
Get em while they're cheap if you want one.
They're Australian, which makes them better than any American offering for a start.
>>17790570
Yes. It's a rebadged Holden Commodore, one of the greatest hoonmobiles in the world, and it's powered by The Actual Greatest Engine Ever Made™.
Guess there are worse things than getting ride-cucked
>>17790487
At least they've got a bin to throw it away.

>free new seat
>free new carpet
I would just ask them to give me the amount of money new parts would cost.
Then I would switch left and right seat and get a bucket seat.
I hate how in Australia "Old school car meet"
Really just means old American or Australian car meet.
Take a british roadster and it get's called a girls car. Some younger people there somehow don't even realise they are old school cars and ask you if you realise it's an old school car meet.
Take a datsun and people tell you you should have got a torana and that Jap crap deservers to rust away.
Yes.
>>17790054
>t. kangaroo mad that his stacymobile was called out on it
polite sage to allow your banter to ferment
>>17790063
It's any car that isn't Aussie or American though.
I know people with austin healeys that get the same kind of crap.
I live in Austria, and we have something called car horse power tax.
What that means is that the more HP a car has, the more you pay.
For example the HP tax for a car with 200 HP is 982€ a year (without car insurance and pickerl, both are mandatory).
So it is pretty hard being a car guy in Austria, especially if you are middle class!
The HP tax is also the reason why AMG's and S Audis are as cheap as a old Kia's!
So i am here to ask you guys, if you can show me some quick cars under 165 HP.
Doesn't matter witch brand!
Thanks!
No one?

Toyota Celica T23?
It's not very slow!

500 Abarth
I have always wanted a donked chevy caprice but could never afford one.
My cousin is selling a lowrider one and is willing to let me have it cheap so he can hand me a come up.
I don't want to tell him this but I don't really like lowriders.
Is it possible to drive a lowrider around with the hydraulics permanently locked up so you can fit them big things under it?
>>17790028
lmao if this aint the funniest shit i've read on /o/ all day
>>17790028
>>17790028
i can already tell the alfonso shitposters are gonna have a field day with this one.
I don't think the suspension is suited for it, both geometry wise and comfort wise.
Calling RX fags,
Looking at replacing my FR-S with pic related.
I already have one in-mind, and it seems like a solid ride. I know the seller and have a good bit of confidence in him, not worried about getting screwed at all. He's very familiar with all the BS quirks that comes with maintaining a rotary like, not using synthetic and redlining at least once a day, etc. and hasn't modified anything. Mileage is also pretty low.
I plan to take it to the local Mazda dealership and get a full inspection done, including a proper compression test. Without the compression test, I'm gonna be pretty nervous. From there, I'll drive it around and see how it rides. I'm expecting at least on-par with Scion.
I already plan on doing the reliability mods like Sohn oil adapter, BHR coil packs, catless midpipe, and possibly aftermarket cooling mods.
What do you guys think? Are dealerships with testers hard to find? None of the fuckheads around here can even answer their phones.
>>17790606
why even risk it? you know the engine is gonna blow.
>>17790613
Does it have to blow? With a dedicated 2-stroke oil feed and proper revving it should last a good bit right? So long as the initial compression tests yield good results...
>>17790615
I should also mention it has a transferable aftermarket warranty with like, 40k miles left
Obscure and cool cars, cars that give you an erection

i seen those everywhere in Japan tho. Cabbies use 'em.

Thoughts on LED headlights?
I've been looking at these. https://www.carid.com/2005-mazda-3-led-lights/lumen-led-headlight-conversion-kit-175094871.html
So long as the beam pattern does not deviate and fucking BLIND EVERYONE. Find someone on some forum somewhere that has used them and taken comparison shots.
Also, don't get 6500k. It's too blue, blinds you and scenery actually reflects less overall perceived light.
>>17789755
Just use bulbs.
People that use HID's or LED's are cancer, its so easy to see where you going until some cunt with blind-o-matic headlights comes along.
>>17789778
these are HIDs but LEDs will probably be the same
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VimU8NdX8w
I'll probably stick with bulbs.
What happened bros?
Renault ruining yet another company
>>17789754
Pretty sure they were getting fucked way before Renault bought them. they started using engines from the Global Engine Alliance which is a joint-venture between FCA, Hyundai and Mitsubishi themselves to save on development cost. it wasn't a surprise that they were struggling to meet Emissions and Renault saw an opportunity to snag another hurting brand.
>>17789802
Correct.
Mitsubishi got fucked real hard by Gaymler-chrysler. The cars from that Era 2000s until recent past years were pretty shit. Just as Mitsubishi was recovering, Renault shows up. Prepare for more fuckery like the eclipse cross.
Redpill me on the R33 I've been obsessed with this generation and I need help, tell me why this thing sucks.
it really doesn't
>>17790463
It doesn't suck. You just take peoples opinion on the internet too seriously.
Why don't you read up on the R33 GT-R yourself. You have the internet at your fingertips yet you decided to ask about it on a vietnamese straw hat weaving forum
>>17790463
read up the Nismo R33 GT-R as well.

Post an image of a car and let others give their opinions on them.

One of the few good cars Honda still makes
>>17789923
Type R never.
Looking to buy a fun car under 25k that is also a fun DD. Right now I am trying to decide between the GTI Sport (23k) and the V6 Challenger (24k).
Which one would you go for, /o/? Redpill me on these mofuckers.
(I also am considering a Canyon or Tacoma)
>V6
WEEEEEWWWWW
>>17789250
>V6 Challenger
Haha! KEK!! Cant afford the V8 can ya?
>>17789261
I could but the MPG doesn't really appeal to me. 300 horses is more than enough for me.
So I'm competing in Hotrod Drag Week in about a week and a half.
I will be driving from Sacramento, California to Cordova, Illinois in my '84 Honda Civic, then actually competing in the event which is like another 1,200 miles.
What would you pack for tools, spare parts, and what music do you suggest? I don't have a co driver, so I'm solo'ing this bitch
>>17789156
here's the car in question.
How did you get approved for the Civic kek.
I would being coolant, basic hand set of metric, spare belts and worst case scenario a head gasket and a waterpump
>>17789246
I don't have a head gasket but I do have a spare water pump. If this thing shits a head gasket, I'm fucked regardless. My engine is strong as she's gonna be though, I can't complain. Good compression, clean oil that it doesn't burn, and she doesn't overheat, even in 105 degree weather today.
Hey, were you talking to me in the /k/ thread? If so, where in Colorado are you?
