what do you guys think of toyota celica

This is what I think.

Offer $4,500 max.
A $5,000 car should not have a ripped seat.
>>17803801
I have around 500$ to spend to fix up the exterior (Mainly just the paint). Car runs great and the interior is very clean. Only has to get me through college, maybe a year or two after. Which one is the best for the price? Pic related, first and current car.
For $500?
Definitely plastidip. Look up how to actually apply it, though. It will only look good if you do it right.
>>17807220
sand it down properly and buy $500 worth of spray paint and clear coat.
>>17807220
do a rustoleum roller
takes some practice to get the right consistency/method but its going to look tons better than anything you can afford on that budget
How did Jaguar get away with this?
>>17803690
Jag still has some questionable quality materials and design decisions in the F Pace.
They just don't have enough money to compete, they barely sell any cars.
Because theyre broke.
No one has given a fuck about them since the early 00s when people actually had the money to waste on their pieces of shit.
You can get much better luxury at more realistic prices and maintenance costs so you'd have to be ignorant or a fanboy to buy them in recent history.
Have you used your car in any crime recently?
I recently used my Taco to rip out the front bumper of some asshole's Wrangler after I caught him loitering near my car and attempting to do something with the gascap.
>>17803524
This is why you never cheap out on your YJ Wrangler's brush guard lol.
Looking to do my first oil change on my first car this weekend and wanted to see if there's any suggestions for floor jacks and jack stands. I'm going back to college next week so money's kinda tight and I was thinking of just picking up a motomaster jack from canadian tire since its on sale (pic related) and 4 jack stands. Should I try to invest some more money into a better jack or will this do for the time being?
Also tools/equipment/setup thread I guess.
that would be fine for your needs but you only need two jack stands for an oil change
also you could just get a pair of ramps instead of a jack and stands if you only want/need to change the oil
>>17803533
i do ramps for fluid changes and i use my fathers big jack to lift my car if i need to
funny enough we actually have some shitty rusted out jack stands that still work, i think they are actually snap on jack stands from maybe the 50s or 60s, my grandfather used to own a service shop, and i use a lot of his old snap on tools
>>17803533
I was planning on getting a jack anyways since I'd be changing tires for winter and maybe doing my brakes later. I just don't know whether this jack will last or shit itself after lifting the car once.
there is a really nice red evo 8 being sold near my house and i would love to have it, i know nothing about the car other than its an evo 8 and its red, what should i do /o/?
>>17803222
They are great but there are few short comings.
One of worst interior I ever seen.
They need lot of care.
Tires tires tires.
>>17803222
That is one sexy shitbox.
>>17803222
Get a good Mitsubishi mechanic to PPI it. Compression test it, etc.

Tesla are everywhere
why would people buy these "thing"
dealerships are located next to the apple store or inside of the shopping mall, people get excited like an smart phone on the launch day.
is this even a car ?

> located next to apple store
You just answered your own question
>>17807219
Fpbp.
Not functional in the least bit and only sells off of popularity
hi there, I'm a millennial who's first car will likely be an EV. I think that Teslas are really cool. The TM3's interior is amazing imo.
Feel free to ask me any questions about my apparent delusion. We have justifications for liking teslas, you know
>First Viper blows a left front, is fixed and sent back out
>Diff drain plug falls out and drains the oil
>Diff seizes
>Second car runs a 7:01 on its first lap
>Front left blows
>Smashes into a barrier

this is almost corvette tier reliability
but at leas it's faster than a gtr
>no longer in production
I'm gonna be looking into getting my first car soon. I want something reliable, practical, but also fun. I'm basically dead broke at the moment and am moving to a new state, so a job comes first obviously, but what do you guys think? Pic related, something I've been considering.
Just think: a good thread got sent to archives because of this.

I can't get over it of how ugly it is.
What happened to happy cars? Why are they all A N G E R Y now?
GRR IM A SALTY MALLCRAWLER NOW
Hey /o/ I've got a dilemma and want everyone's opinion good or bad
I have a 2001 Ford Mustang that I will use until snowfall and
During the Jewish tricks of winter I will be using my 2003 chevy Tahoe with snow tires
Now I asked my insurance about pizza delivery (JewFarm) and they said they would cover it but I have to have one of those gay snapshot things that records your data tells when you accelerate hard corner hard go over the speed limit etc otherwise they won't cover me
Now I live in a medium size town with some pretty wealthy people and few hoods
I'm wondering with all this in mind is pizza delivery a good job for me through college? I really have a tight schedule and I just can't provide the timeframes other jobs want me to do besides pizza delivery
I'm afraid of some jagoff crashing into my vehicle and totaling it it's a V6 but it's still my car.
Also is it smart to deliver in a 16 year old "sports" (and I use that term loosely) car? Is maintainence as big of a pain in the ass as everyone says it is? I can wrench on anything on my car except the motor and transmission so like spark plugs tires brakes etc I can do

This is either bait, or you're new here.
People will not like you very much, so watch out.
>>17806900
OP Here, I also forgot to ask is it really true half of your monthly pay goes back into fixing your car? I see a lot of pizza guys with Chrysler 300's and I even saw a 350z deliver once.
>>17806906
I'm new..
sorry sir
Anyone here own a first-generation Previa? I live in Vancouver Canada (cars arent fucked by salt here) and I see them selling for less than 3000 all the time.
Are all LHD Previas shitbuckets? Do I need to find a RHD one to get one that has actually been maintained?
Why do you want an ancient minivan?
They're old and riddled with problems
They're underpowered.
Heavy
Uncomfortable
Ugly as sin

What is your opinion on the LS400, /o/?
>>17806783
HUGE steering wheel. It makes me uncomfortable

>>17806783
I drove one and really liked it. It's unfortunate that manual swaps are a bitch.
