How did they do it ?
>>16840005
bmw is garbage
Big shell with not much inside of it?
cheap ignition switches
Convince me not to buy an FZ-07
the fz-09 does better wheelies
No fairings = outdated design for image conscious numales
Why do you hate aerodynamics and protection from wind and flying debris? Afraid your Harley riding boyfriend would call you a boy racer?
>>16840082
numales love hipster shit and a naked bike and café racer are the must of the hipster shit
Why don't you wear your seatbelt, /o/? Don't you know that's dangerous.
The bus doesn't have seat belts (I mean presumably the driver does?)
>>16839851
>The bus doesn't have seat belts
The population of /o/ in a nutshell.
There is actually a decent amount of evidence that suggests seat belts aren't as safe as manufacturers make them out to be and can even kill you
What kinda car do I drive, /o/?
>Shit
mazda 2
golf

A Snord Snowcus
Is the Panther platform the ultimate car for kekolds and fedorabeards?
>"tough" image to compensate for their meekness
>big engine to compensate for their truncated gentleman's sausages
this 100%?
>>16839731
>compensate
Good theory until you realize it's the most anemic V8 ever made.
>>16839750
This. Sounds more like op either just got a ticket or is jealous of someone's crown Vic.
They are extremely solid comfortable cars that can be had cheaply and run on a budget.
OP you gooft
>>16839750
>>16840509
I've owned a few crown vics, and I enjoy them. Now that I'm getting older and have a bit more cash, I'm considering picking one up and swapping the drivetrain from a 03-04 Cobra. Of course building it up a bit to "dea" with the extra weight.
All black, dog dish caps, fat rubber all around, and a push bar
Talking to a guy in his early 20s
>Doesn't know what kind of car he has
>Has no idea what engine he has
>Apologizes and says he has no idea about cars and he can't even guess what kind of car he has
>I- IS this really the young generation?
>WTF
DELET THIS
>>16839647
so did you find out that cuckbox the cuk drove?
>>16839654
No, he could never tell me man
I didn't bother asking him to check with his mom what car he drives
btw. He is 18 years old and graduating soon
>WTF
Would you buy a tesla as a daily driver if you had the money?
No. IKEA tier interior and hideously unreliable. Also energy costs here relate in a way that makes a good diesel hybrid very nearly as cheap to fill up. Mabye I'd buy one as a collectible if I were a millionaire.
The fastest car money can buy
>>16839567
yes because it is the superior automobile for the modern professional on the move, friend
Technically cvt is the best transmission.
>>16839478
no.
>>16839478
Technically, FF is the best engine layout.
>>16839478
The argument usually goes:
>if Formula One used it then it must be better
/o/ i think i have settled down. E36 M3 is the ultimate DD than can work as a fun track day car too.
>cheap
>3.2 321hp
>excellent handling
>dat I6 sound
>good looking
>nice interior
I'll happily never own one of those if it means not becoming a BMW driver.
>>16839389
>5 speed only
E46 is better with that 6th gear.
>>16839397
let's not get down to stereotypes. some of the bmw's are just brilliant. I had a 300zx before and I was expecting to be disappointed by the M3.but i wasnt. several test drives made it.
Stop buying miatas.
>>16839359
ok
i've already bought 2, don't need another one
>>16839359
I'm a manlet so i'm not comfortable in most other things. especially mid-large trucks.
DO NOT BUY USED SPORTS CARS
47k mile car, bought it 2 months ago and put 3k miles on it
Repairs:
- All 4 tires (sold bold)
- Rear driver side brake line fluid leak repair/replacement of line
- Transmission line replacement (no warranty)
- Rear differential leak repair (new gasket, warranty)
- Tire pressure sensor replacement
- Front brakes replacement
- Rear stabilizer bar replacement
FUCK. If it's too cheap and too good to be true, it probably is.
>buys car with bold tires and complains about having to buy new ones
>okay
>shit luck
>warranty, who cares
>minor shit, what nu-male sports cuckmobile comes with tire pressure sensors anyway?
>wear and tear item, should've seen it come
>whatever
tl;dr stop whining
Well, you ignored the red flag of someone selling a car with bald tires
>buying a car without knowing about that shit beforehand
what jackstands are gud?
>>16839247
inspect the welds yourself
I wouldn't trust my life on advice from a bus riding anon from a chinese cartoon forum
then again listing to my advice would be taking advice from said chinese cartoon forum
don't listen to me
that single side exhaust is hnnnnggg tho
>>16839247
I bought whatever they sold at Napa. I think ac Delco. They work good, held up my truck
>>16839247
As a general rule, each jackstand I get should hold more than the weight of the car I am working on.
Found pic related of craigslist, could probably talk him down to 2500 or less easy.
It has a lot of miles on it and the engine has been rebuilt though. But the 22r engine has a really good reputation for being nearly bulletproof. I like the look of the truck and have seen some really good looking ones fixed up and lifted. Do you think I should buy or no???
>2wd
>4cyl
>254k miles
>1986
$1000 at best, that guy is deluded
>>16839250
>>16839250
he also said it needs and a/c compressor, I live in a desert and summer is starting, gets up to 110 degrees here easy.
I really like the look of this truck though. Im sure if I went to check it out in person and offered him 2000 he'd accept, maybe less. It'll be my first vehicle and plan on fixing it up so I don't mind if I have to put some work into it down the line, infact I look forward to it. They look pretty sweet lifted.
>>16839250
I also like the old Datsun trucks, the fucker wants 5k for this one though which is way out of my price range. The truck looks super clean though, not sure if I can talk him down a couple thousand. Do you think this is even worth 5k?
Help me out /o/
Looking for a first car around 8k, something decently quick and fun, manual, and somewhat practical. Something that I can actually find and is not impossible to find in decent condition on craigslist.
>>16839188
MazdaSpeed3s are pretty nice. Good power, plenty of space, and easily modified. Insurance is nice too. Gen 1's can easily be found at that price point (probably find a nicely modified one too).
Check out the MazdaSpeed3 For Sale Facebook page. Great deals on there.
>>16839188
9-2X Aero/Legacy GT/02-05 WRX if you look hard enough and are patient (set up a CL search-alert).
04-08 TSX 6spds and 07-11 Civic Sis
350Zs and G35 6 speeds.
>>16839222
Yeah I saw a 9-2x Aero with 87k for 4500 but it sold the day it posted sadly. I'll just have to be especially patient to find a Legacy GT or any Subaru. I really really want a TSX but 6 spds are almost non-existent and are mostly riced out. Same with Civic Sis and 350z/g35.
What are good manual RWD cars in the european region?
How come theres no somewhat cheap and compact RWD cars? I live in Austria, where FWD hatchbacks are the standard. I've been looking at BMW's like the E46 and E39. Problem is most of them are trashed and/or molested by turks, same for Audi and Mercedes. The E39 is nice but its just fucking huge at 4.7 meters length.
Im going to buy my first own car soon and im a little picky about what I want. Got 5 grand max and live in Austria by the way. I've been looking at a bunch of different vehicles for a while now but nothing really fits.
>>16839079
Also checked out cars like the 200SX (European 180SX) and some Imprezas but the ones that are here are imported and impossible to maintain because of registration fees and etc
E36
>Hurr durr muh Turks
Well guess what, they choose the fun cars for hooning
