Disappointment *buh-dum tiss*
Is that the 2.5 or the 3.5?
>>16853435
2.5 CVT
>>16853418
if its the 3.5 then its good. if its 3.5 and manual then its pretty amazing
Assuming space is of no concern, is there any reason to prefer an NA engine over a supercharged engine?
Fuel efficiency. Not everyone buys a car for performance purposes.
>>16853387
Simplicity. Less parts to fail and less maintenance
performance purposes
compressors of any kind don't let you hit your top speed unless conditions are right to boost. In a race, this means you lose, faggot. your car is cucked.

They're fun and not too expensive.
They just showed up in front of the house with it...holy shit guys..my first car.
>>16853061
Awesome
Crossovers are great. They allow for many activities that arent able to be done in a normal car while still being comfortable and getting good mpg.
how does it feel to drive a car that just screams "I like to watch my wife bet fucked by black guys while i watch"
The new Honda hrv is definitely one of the better compact cuv.
You definitely won't have any issues typically associated with a new model. You know like leaky roofs, and failing parts.
ITT talk about some cars or companies that lost what they once were.. I'll start with Jeep, especially the Wrangler. Up until the JK, Wranglers used to be SUV's that were simple. Granted the Jeep community was (still is) cancer but they were using them as they should be. Now with the JK's you got everything from nigs to millennials driving them probably cause some rapper had one in a music video. Same could go with Range Rover, what once was a company with some badass 4x4 vehicles now produces things that'll never leave the pavement
>>16852928
the Wrangler has turned into a girl car. every girl i talk to says they love wranglers, and 4 girls i know have one.
>>16852957
You're right. I actually recommended a TJ Wrangler to a rich chick when I was in high school. Of course her parents buy it before she even fucking tried to drive it or knew what the 4x4 shifter was. Long story short she drove it on the high way once, hated it, went crying to daddy, and ended up with a brand new BMW
Range Rover, Mini, Rolls Royce.
BMW is a fucking cancer.
Sup /o/, can I legally rent a car in the UK (or Ireland) with a US Military ID? The gf has a student visa over there, and she told me she was unable to.

someone let me know all the things fucked up about the 1980 yamaha xs 850 special. buying from a speed shop.
>>16852761 you could buy it for $650
>>16852761
If it runs, go for it.
If it doesn't run, it's a pain in the ass to make 80s bikes work but it's not complicated, just annoying.
>>16852772
750 to much? that brake rotor looks a little fucked up. its a toss up between this one and a 82 suzuki GS 1100 for $800. the yamaha has a kick start that i like becuase if battery power is lost im not stuck but the suzuki has makuni carbs while the yamaha has shittier hitachi carbs
That moment when you're having a little spirited fun going 30 over the limit and you see a Ford taurus pull out of a dark corner and turn the sirens on.
Ugh, first ticket ever. What do
>>16852726
Police here. Go to court (dress professional and be respectful), admit what you did if you did it, says it's your first ticket, ask for leniency and/or driving school. Good luck & don't speed lol
>not challenging the police to a toe-gay race and losing him on the hairpins thanks to your sick doriftos
>>16852742
Literally this. 30 over should require a court appearance anyway.

I have '96 Avalon. I'm pretty sure its literally the most comfy car ever made.
Reliable, cheap, and the V6 can blow the doors off Civics, Golfs, and other most of the street racers I've encountered. 168k miles and counting, I plan on driving this motherfucker into the ground.
how easy would it be to diy shit on a 735 e23?
i keep getting mixed messages
both engine and the trans have been rebuilt recently, not sure if it has the 4 or 5 speed auto
stock all around except the wheels,no debadging,no intakes or any hack job half-assed mods
>>16852451
It's easy once you get to know the car, it's hard when you only first get the car and look at thing, just read forums and don't be afraid to ask questions and you will learn that you are fully capable at doing anything you want to that car.
This is the closest thing I have driven and I honestly miss it a lot. It was way ahead of its time considering the year. Quite literally one of the most comfortable and floaty cars I have been in.
I got arrested in it during a drug bust and the police ripped up the interior and ruined the car so I ended up selling it afterwards

Going to Savannah, GA to get fuuuuuucked up
>Why are you sat at home alone on a friday night?
Friends just bailed on St. Patty's Day plans, so I have nothing to do. I really just wanna go to someone's house and chill and smoke some weed.
>Why aren't you out at the meets with your bros or >gf?
I have no friends that are into cars that aren't busy as hell. Also I would feel out of place rolling up with my boring econobox.
>What are your car related plans for the weekend?
Maybe try to learn how to change oil?
>your car > whores
Of course
>Why are you sat at home alone on a friday night?
Because im fucking anti-social.

what
I climb into the manhole in my courtyard with only swimming trunks on and start clearing it of leaves because it's always the first thing that clogs up and then the courtyard goes underwater. Had it at the edge of the garage door in the past.
I press the a button on my dashboard and my car turns into a hovercraft.
