Why hasn't the mk4 jetta been affected by rice tax? The jetta is underrated
>rice tax
>on a sedan VW golf driven mainly by old people
what
Jettas the fag who can't into gti
its not a cool car so why would it be affected
Why would you buy a gt86 for 30 thousand dollars us when you can literally buy an ultra clean Type S (that's faster, with better tuning opportunity, more aftermarket, etc) for 7k american?
lmfao

Is there a type of power inverter that is auto on/off? I would like to wire something up permeantly so I don't have to keep plugging it in and out.
>>16875357
Just put it on a ACC wire.
cut the hot wire and place a switch on it
>>16875362
But then it will run whenever the car is on. And I have a newer Ford escape and they don't really have the traditional ACC wire. I know because I installed a dash cam and looked for the ACC wire
I have a serious query, o/tistas.
Are there any small, sensible city cars that have a decent engine? Toyota Aygo's, or those wimpy Hyundai i10 all come out with a 1.0 or a 1.2L engine, either 3 or 4 cylinder, some are turbocharged, some not. Whatever.
They claim they're so green they will mend the ozone layer and that they will do a million miles to the gallon - both of which they obviously don't (yes i was exaggerating, but the principle still stands). But anyway, that's not the point of this thread...
My query is, are there any city cars with a decent, 1.4L+, n/a engines in said shitty little tinny city cars?
Piss easy mode - no mention of CO2, and mpg's don't matter as much.
Picture unrelated.
This weird little thing came with a 1.6l FSI engine at some point.
>>16875337
Doesn't look as small as some of the modern stuff, but that still looks slick.
>>16875416
Yeah, it's a bit bigger than let's say an Aygo in every way, but not by much. The biggest difference is in length, where it adds like 40cm.
Wheelbase is almost identical though.
Saw those yesterday.

there are still some spots where there's no rust on that Alfa
What are the advantages of having smaller wheels?

More torqqq

Hi /o/. I feel like I want to die but I'm too much of a pussy to go through with suicide. I was planning on hitting the touge tonight and pushing corners harder and harder until I crash. Will this get me sympathetic attention or will I just get into trouble with the police and/or the insurance company?
I should add: I put a big dent in the car earlier and I want to crash it to hide my shame, so as long as the car's damaged I don't mind if I'm not.
>arrested for endangering other drivers
>get raped in jail
>die a slow painful death of hiv/aids
this is how youre gonna die op
>>16874532
Just route the exhaust into the cabin then let the engine warm up for ten minutes before you go to the toegay.
Don't harm the car, just yourself for being an attention seeking faggot.
Opinion on the Mustang Shelby GT350(R)?

How can anybody like these things?
It's literally just a family car with a rear wing. And it looks ugly as fuck too.
>>16874033

I think the new Civics look pretty solid.
And the whole charm behind them is that they're just everyday cars with a bit more power inside them, for a reasonable price.
>>16874033
They are maaad
I think there's a market for a mad reasonable priced family sports car

How can someone even live with themself being fat, its not actually that hard to count calories
I bought this premium Scion stereo off eBay. It plugs in and works fine except for one problem:
So when you press AM it switches to AM, and when you press FM it switches to FM. But when you press AUX or disc, it stays on FM or AM, and doesn't switch over when you press the AUX or disc button. No, there are no wiring mistakes. What do I do? Can't find an answer anywhere.
>>16873455
really stupid question, only asking to eliminate obvious problems.. when you try to switch to CD, do you actually have a CD in? same for AUX.. do you actually have something plugged in?
>>16873455
In an Entune Tech and (since there are no official Bespoke techs) I work with the Scion systems as well. If it's anything like the touch screen units, the system has to register that a CD or AUX source is inserted. No CD = No CD option
>>16873482
Never put a CD in, but I did try it with and without AUX. I plugged in an adapter through the back of the stereo to plug into my phone, and I tried it with my phone plugged and unplugged.
I KNOW that the AUX connection works though, because when I plug in my phone and turn up the music volume, I cannot hear it through my phone's speakers, meaning that it has connected to the stereo, but when I press AUX it stays on FM.
