Cost to convert an aw11 to FR?
I really want a cheap small nimple fr 80's corolla but ae86s are just retarded corollas with bad engineering.
Fuck driving something similar to a corolla.

You realise
By doing this
You will fuck up EVERYTHING
There are plenty of shitbox FRs for you to mess with but please dont destroy the AW11 desu

Anybody know what the hell is wrong with my 1990 244 DL?
It starts like this, and hesitates when you accelerate. It is to the point where if you jab gas pedal (in gear) the engine will stall!

Starter is not bad, I even replaced it thinking it was bad. Engine cranks normally with fuel disabled. Somebody said it is probably spark occurring during compression stroke, due to ECU not getting enough voltage, and that I should clean my battery cables where they connect to the cable terminals. I've already cleaned the battery terminals and the cables on the outside. I've also cleaned main engine grounds, which seemed to help a bit.
Any ideas on how to remove the copper cable from the brass connector? It seems to be crimped in. I'd really rather not replace them.
Is a 940 classic enough?
>>16880020
I hope so, cause I need some tips for lowering my V90 a couple of inches.
I'm considering a small/mid-sized truck in the future. I don't tow, I only really want the space to haul things in the bed. Plus its less cabin space to keep clean than a sedan, less to wax on the outside. Would want the extended cab for extra storage. I'm considering a Ford Ranger, but would go with the Mazda version only because I like the styling better.
Pros:
-Last of the oldschool small trucks before they got all bloated in size and tech.
-Relatively simple to work on.
-Parts are cheaper since its a domestic and these trucks are always plentiful in yards. Last generation went vastly unchanged for over ten years.
Cons:
-Its a Ford, I've been driving Japanese for years, do I really want to own a Ford? I had a Taurus, it was shit.
-Fuel econ with the 3.0L V6, but its harder to find the extended cab with the four cyl.
-Interior is dated as hell.
Toyota Tacoma is prob more money to maintain, is already pretty big. Don't know much about Nissan and its Frontier. I won't touch a Dakota or anything from GM. I missed the era of early 80s small car based trucks. That's just what I needed.
Yes, you want a Ranger. BUT, do yourself a favor and pay the extra for an extended cab.
>>16878442
Will this be your daily?
Just get the Taco. They aren't more money to maintain. Despite what /o/ seems to think it's no coincidence the price of a used Taco is 2x that of a similar ranger, they are that much better, and will hold their value to the point where you can abuse it for years with nothing but oil changes and sell it down the road for not a huge loss
With F8 coming out, what's your favorite installment?

Tokyo Drift is dumb weeb shit

Thoughts on the Honda Rebel? My father pressured me into getting my motorcycle endorsement and so I now have it. It would just be something to get to and from college/work, and it would be something I could call my own.
Thing is, I want something underpowered that isn't basically a moped because I don't trust myself. I see how people out here get injured all the time on motorcycles, ending up with brain injuries and shit. I want something that maxes out at barely legal highway limits and is impossible for me to be a moron on. I see how I drive, I know how I've drove my old crown vic before it got totaled getting T-boned by someone who ran a stop sign.
Honda rebel, thoughts? I'd get one that's used probably, cheap, good mileage, underpowered so I don't go doing 95mph on the freeway with it.. Plus I'll be able to park.
>>16877709
Even if you don't trust yourself, do not get a fucking Honda Rebel. You will regret in a day. Just get a cruiser around 600c like a Honda Shadow.
I understand the mindset if not wanting to kill yourself with the machine but once you ride for a while you realize a majority of those accidents are because of retards over estimating their abilities. If you ride smart and safe you'll build your confidence.

He's right you know. Even though I had a vt700 and it was a gorillion times better
So I doubt this si the right spot to ask this, but I'll give it a shot.
I'm on a career path that'll let me get my mitts on my dream car, the BNR32 GT-R. If possible, I'd want to fully restore/modify mine in the same way as Singer Porsches ( https://petrolicious.com/singer-vehicle-design-s-rob-dickinson-on-building-a-restomod-empire )
However, Singer Porsche obviously only works on Porsches. What shops would be a good place to look for that sort of work on Nissans?

Boyracer weeb detected.
>>16876840
i mean...any decent body/paint shop?
>>16876854
It's more than that; Singer rebuilds the 911's with period correct-looking modern parts, with hand stitched custom interiors.
The tricky part would be the motor: Singer ships in a crate flat-6 from a baseline modern 911; I'd need a brand-new or refurb'd/built RB26.

No tolls around west coast.
Also toll roads are privately owned in most cases

fuck i knew this board in particular was a bunch of closeted retards but jesus.
does /o/ have any tips for staying in the middle of the lane i'm in. i'm a new driver, only been driving for about a month. The car i have to drive is my dads 2013 Ford Explorer and that motherfucker is wide so i'm always feeling like i'm swerving too far or too close to a lane next to me
Tips?????
>>16884852
you gotta talk to your ride man just listen to her and youll know what to do. remember... [fades]
>>16884852
pay atten to your mirrors.
>>16884852
Remember that lanes are way bigger than you think. I just try to remember that I'm on top of the front left wheel, and I basically have a point visualized on the left of the windshield that the lane markers should pass though as I drive to ensure that I'm right in the middle of my lane. Idk how to explain that any clearer, but yeah.
