They're pretty much all the same in terms of quality. Castrol is a really good brand. Don't settle for no-name or off-brand chinese shit as thats absolute garbage.

Any recognizable brand such as Mobil, Valvoline, Penzoil, Castrol, etc are good brands

A lot of different tests show that one brand thats perhaps 3rd in one test is the 1st in another test

What I care mostly about is that its certified, and its weight/viscosity when its cold. On the last point I've seen a few tests where they pour same weight oil (5w40, 0w40 mostly) thats been cooled down to -25c/-13f from different containers equally, to see which is more fluid; Mobil1 wins every time

I use penzoil 5w-30 high milage in my truck. Gets the job done, it's the right weight and my local parts store carries it.

I bought my car two months ago and just realized the original spare tire and jack were pulled out, so I put in a spare+jack I had lying around

since then I've noticed my car feels pretty sluggish compared to how it was before and my gas mileage has gotten slightly worse, but if I pull the stuff out again I'm gonna feel kinda paranoid knowing that if I do get a flat, I'll be screwed

what are some alternative, weight-saving remedies for a flat tire, /o/?

sidenote: if it matters, I have AAA roadside assistance, and I don't intend to road trip this car

Friends, neighbours, and American puppets of Euro Night Wave, it's only one week until Brit/o/ has its first track meet of the year. Join us at Shakespeare County Raceway from the 8th of April to the 9th for DRAG MEET II, hosting SHITBOX CUP, the premiere drag racing series for largely standard Nissan Micras and lesser cute cars. Some of us are going down on the 7th to save missing all of Saturday's racing driving up there so feel free to join us for a lot of alcohol.

Shitbox Cup cars are up to 1.3 DOHC or 1.6 SOHC cars that are largely standard. Non-shitboxes can compete but with penalties. Current reigning champion in his "Boyota Rustlet" is rumoured to be competing with a refreshed clutch.

There will be grills like Danny and Sam available.

How fucked am I /o/?
My car got stuck in water and water started to seep in through the door.

By the time I got on top of my car and walked to dry land, water was about a little bit under the seat.

The water hasn't risen since then and it receded a bit but I didn't get to turn off my warning lights since I was panicking to get out.

I'm aware that Imgur.com will stop allowing adult images since 15th of May. I'm taking actions to backup as much data as possible.
