Poorfag here buying first car. My options are
>2002 camry xle 155k $3000
>2001 acura 3.5rl 150k $2900
The acura has from what Ive read abysmal gas mileage but last at least to 300k before problems arise.
The camry isnt quite as luxurious as the acura (no sunroof or aux etc) but is also supposed to be near as reliable and has better as mileage.

Im actually leaning more towards the camry. I like the way it looks more. I car more about the aux cord than the sunroof but you can use the cassette for that. But if the acura might be the better choice. Also just noticed the camry looks like its had its front bumper replaced for repainted. Hard to tell for certain though.

So a while back I brought an old truck I had in to a shop to have a bunch of work done (pick related). I came to an agreement that they would put in a rebuilt 400ci sbc, new front and rear diff, straighten out any imperfections in the body and paint the truck. some time has past since this fucker has had my truck and I find on an international harvester forumn parts to my truck for sale, like the whole chassis, engine, tranny, everything. I flipped out, went to his shop, my truck is literally in pieces and he says get this thing outta here I decided I'm not doing the job. Lots of shit missing like the gas tank, mirrors, body mounts were just cut off with a torche. Cops are saying it's a civil matter and this cunt just closed down his fucking chop shop. I realized I'm pretty much shit out of luck with the $8,000 I gave him. How would you guys go about feeling whole again. I'm not trying to go to prison but 4chan seems to be a place to dig for creative revenge ideas. I went online and signed him up to be an official member of the KKK, it didn't give me as much satisfaction as I thought it would. I heard if I throw a mattress in his pool the weight of it with he water will require a crane to tug it out. Any ideas on how to make this fuckers life truly difficult. In before you're a fucking dipshit

Considering buying this land yacht. 1981 Lincoln Town Car. $11,000 AUD.
Shared the Panther platform, so spare parts shouldn't be too hard to find - I'm told.
It'd be my only vehicle but I'm a full-time worker and part-time student at a university that I can easily catch the bus to, so I wouldn't be relying on it for anything other than fucking around.
I have no mechanical experience but I want to learn.
Haven't talked to the owner or inspected it so obviously purchase is conditional on getting a good price, it running, no major repairs needed, blah blah blah, but from the ad it looks like it's in fine condition and only needs some reupholstering for the headliner.
Thoughts?
I've spent my whole life driving dad's big four wheel drives and sedans so I'm not too concerned about the barginess of it.
