Any/o/ne play these kind of games where they teach you the basics of a car/car maintenance?
Was it accurate or helpful?
My summer car is your best bet

this. You will learn everything you'd ever want to know about assembling a Datsun A110, drinking beer, and living in 1990s Finland minus the drugs and stabbings.
Fuck yeah Automation
>She explained that her chauffeur was driving her and her boyfriend at ~75 km/h northbound on the highway in Guangzhou when they hit the concrete siderails, the car turned around 180-degrees and was hit front first by a Ford Focus.
>They then tried to open the Falcon Wing doors, but she says that they were both stuck.

That could have happened in any car. And besides, the more Chinese that die the better.

>in car crash
>car gets fucked up
...and?
>>17081460
>i-it could've happened to anybody!! Tesla is good car!
Is fake carbon fiber in cheaper cars a thing now?
What is this sweet ride?
>>17081382
I had something similar in my Jaguar F-Type R. Absolutely appalling in a $100k+ vehicle, one of the only gripes I had with the car. Who the fuck authorizes this cheap, ugly shit?
>>17081477
My guess it's a Mazda, 3 or 2.
>manual sounds fun
>99.9% of my driving is done in heavily congested stop and go traffic
Why are you wasting your life?
>>17081332
I deal with traffic daily, stop being a bitch
>>17081339
I don't understand the question
Hello /o/
AUTOMOTIVE ELITISM DISCUSSION THREAD.
Why do normies have such shit taste in cars?
THEY'RE PUTTING CHEMICALS IN THE WATER THAT TURN THE FRICKIN' FROGS GAY
>>17081296
Is this ironic?

Buz Aldrin would like a word with you
Hey guys, just went to the 2017 bike show in my town and i just fell in love with some models.
(new gixxer was awesome, as well as the aprillia rsv4)
but i want to buy a super naked, so tell me which you recommend.
I am between mt-10 , mt-09 and ktm superduke 1290r.
keep in mind i am planning on doing some small touring with pillion, on whichever bike i end up buying.
So seatcomfort and accesories availability such as top cases and windscreens are a big factor.
but the bike will be used most for city riding and hitting the curved roads at weekends.
*feel free to suggest other models you have in mind*
there is a bike show? never heard of it
>>17081178
you should try riding them
very unlikely anyone here has rode all 3 of them and even if they have, might not have the same opinion. most of those are not gonna be great for 2 up riding either
I'd doubt any of those would be ideal for touring without sacrificing a lot of what you could get by buying a second bike that's more suited for that specifically, especially if you're looking to maintain use of an additional seat.
Unrelated to that, part of me wants a Superduke purely because of how it sounds.
So what are some general tips about getting a whole car repainted?
I'm so in love with my mid 00's boring sedan i want to do a complete service, consumables, clutch, brake job, etc and a repaint cause its got various dents and scratches here and there. Plus i always thought it'd be cool to own a midnight blue car.
I saw rob spaghetti get shafted with his maaco deal, on the other end i guess i could get it to the stealership and get fleeced, what are some tips and general ideas you guys got about this
in general you want to look at past jobs from the guy. especially with a color change, its not a small task. so look at his prior work.
Changing the color is a huge amount of work since you have to paint all the jambs, engine bay, etc. There is no possible way you will fine anyone that will do a half decent job for less than $4k.
>>17081191
This.
Sometimes you get even just a dent repaired or something and then wonder if they guy is colorblind or what.
Anyone know a good cheap-ish dash cam?
Some asshole reared me yesterday and i wanna be prepared next time something like that happens.
>>17081093
/bump/
>>17081093
seconded, there are lots of shitty knock off ones so advice from anons would be appreciated
To hijack this, are there any dash cams that use a small camera module connected by a wire to a separate recorder (like a backup camera)? Seems silly to me to have the recording part in the sun all the time, if I'm going to be stashing the power supply somewhere anyway.
Why are almost all drift cars at drift events 90s japanese cars?
What if they go "extinct"?
they are cheap rear wheel drive cars, they will probably be replaced by the gt86, modern awd cars with a locked center diff and the shittiest grade of bmw in 20 or so years
It started in Japan
>>17080765
>gt86
Got a used car with this rolling around the engine bay. It's a siren, right?
Yep
lel why would there be a siren rolling around the engine bay?
Where did you get this thing?
You only have the choice between a Manual V6 or an automatic V8, which do you choose?
For that car? I'd go with the auto V8. Auto doesn't ruin the appeal the way a V6 does.
>>17080367
/thread
Manual V6 otherwise you don't get to hear the full roar of the V8. Paddle wouldn't be bad. Older guys like it.
What does /o/ think of my antiboomer mustang(made specifically to trigger boomers), also post your Vidya cars
Postin' my usual
Also cue mrcummy sperging out about how video games are for children and everyone over the age of 12 who still plays them should kill themselves
>>17080460
What is the most fun auto vidya you've ever played? Doesn't have to be a good game, as long as you had fun with it.
Also, no I'm not reposting this in /ovg/, fuck you.
Maybe Super Mario Kart. There was this other lame but remarkably fun one we kept renting for the NES during sleepovers, but I can't remember the name.
>>17080139
There are enough vidya related threads active you moron
>>17080139
Saints Row 2. Cruising around in a convertible listening to the in-game radio for hours was restful af - I didn't have a car or licence at the time, and the game was one of the reasons I finally got one.
is ecoboost really a meme or is this one of the best mustangs ever made
>>17080122
Not great, but better than foxbodies
Evo boost is shitposted to death on this board but it's nice to have a factory turbo mustang. What sucks is the exhaust manifold is integrated into the block. One of the best mustangs ever made? Maybe not, but it's not bad at all.
Idk I'd own one. They're pretty fast. If Ford offered the mustang with the 3.5 EcoBoost I would cum.
Why hasn't anyone ever thought of combing stancing with rolling coal?
A stanced, bosozoku itasha truck rolling coal
two wrongs don't make a right
>>17080008
That sounds like a rolling shitpost
