Probably because no one wants to deal with the repairs or running cost.
2800 or 3.0 cs
polaris silver with red interior
Super fucking mint S13 with an ITB 1UZ-FE that can barely idle.
Since 2010 or so, S13's have gone from 4k SR20DE autos for a minter to like 10. Same with A31 Cefiros, really grinds me fucking gears. Fell in love with them since before I had a job and adultery to attend. Now this.
Any DMV /o/tists on this site? If so what do you drive? I'll start.

I'm conflicted about this place. On one hand, we have just about everything we could ever need here, but it's also fucking expensive to live in the DMV and the car laws in VA are ass. It's also crowded as shit and the weather is retarded but I've lived here my entire life so I'm used to those elements I guess
>>17103926
OP here, me too. I've lived on the MD side all my life and the traffic sucks, but the car laws over here are alot more relaxed. I haven't gone over to VA much, but luckily I've never gotten pulled over while I'm over there.

Just moved a tad north to PA but lived in MD all my life until now.

Is this the gold tacoma guy everyone talks about?
So, life has been good to me and after putting in the long hours and hard work I'm getting a promotion with a substantial pay increase.
Question is: Should I upgrade to different vehicle?
I own a 2012 MazdsSpeed3 with modifications. It's a lot of fun and great on the track, as well as daily driving. I also have a 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth that I use for business trips.
I was thinking of getting something around $60k. Either A luxurious sedan or something faster than what I have now.
Deciding between some form of Lexus or a used GT-R. What do my br/o/thers think? Any other suggestions for that price range or lower?
>using the smaller, more bumpy car for longer trips
>>17108810
You don't have to tell us your pay but what's your free cash every month? I'm in a similar situation where I'm looking at having $4,500 a month after all of my bills so $1k for a new GTR isn't a big deal for me.
Keep in mind that a car isn't a wise purchase, but if you love cars why not buy one you'll love.
>>17108810
buy 20 miatas or 20 civics
obviously
Parents just bought me my first car
I'm not american, parents bought me pic related (Nissan Note from 2014) and I would like your valuable input/experience with it or even general tips and advice.
Had my license since September and been driving mostly my mum's Smart (automatic, fucking hate automatic), and, occasionally, my dad's BMW 320d an the 2cv. My driving class/exam car was an older Toyota Yaris.
Enjoy it. Don't modify it. Use it to make memories.
So many kids buy cars they can't afford with mods that ruins reliability and resale value.
These coming years will be the best of your life. Spend it with friends and adventures, not working overtime to buy that part you think you need.
>>17108423
Keep an eye on the oil level. Pretty sure Nissan's have had a oil burning issue for a few years now.
Other than that, enjoy it. Your first car really does leave an impact.
I miss mine. :(
>>17108450
I'd never think of modding a car.
I'm 26 and due to college and having to pay fro my own shit I've only managed to get my license now. With this I mean that my making memories and approach to the car are different than an 18 year old's, I guess.

I swear it's always BMW, Range rovers, and audis that follow uncomfortably close to me
>>17107665
Here in bavaria it's BMWs almost everytime

yea i do that sometimes
it doesnt feel like you're going that fast until you actually look at the speedometer
>open hood
>notice ebay strut bar
>I suddenly feel triggered as hell
Why do people buy made in china crap from ebay for their cars?
its 3 pieces of metal that bolts across an engine bay you elitist prick
or do you only use 97 fold ladder Damascus steel on your strut bars?
It's not like it's a super complicated part.
Some people arent elitists who buy something cause it's more expensive
Living at home and being able to afford an exotic. Feels so damn good.
Why aren't you doing this.
You should probably focus on getting your license first, champ.
Because I'm already living at home and still can't afford an exotic.
Unless you consider an old hearse an exotic because I'm considering buying one.
I dont care about cars that much
ugly midengined Honda Accords arent exotics either bud
Who gets shafted when this happens. Always curious what exactly goes down when this happens or shit related.
Does the dealer cough up a new car? Tech gets fired?
>>17107235
They probably have insurance for this sort of thing. not sure how that even happened
I install/repair vehicle lifts and this doesn't happen very frequently. In my experience the dealers insurance will usually pay out for a new/replacement vehicle and pretty much every time, the tech gets fired.
>>17107255
Why should tech get fired for faulty equipment?

Redpill me on steel wheels. I want a rugged cop kind of look.
Its a 2012 impala.
You put them on your car and they work like any other wheel
They looks like a wheel.
Sometimes you can put hubcaps on them to spiff them up.
It's okay.
Get the 5-spoke, clear coat for glassy finish, put chrome capped lugs on it, enjoy.
no center cap
