>>17107926

>>17107942

/o/ what am I looking at?
***Any real mechanics in here?***
>>17107643
I'm a big domestic fan rather than imports but if I'm not mistaken that'sa big ass turbo hangin off the side of a nissan inline 4 or some shit. They've tubed the chassis which is what those gold things on either side of the motor are and they've spent like 3 grand on all their fancy pantsy braided hoses. I clearly have 100% idea what I'm talking about here and should be taken as a point of authority, as per usual here on /o/
>>17107643
>***Any real mechanics in here?***
Where the fuck do you think you are?
>>17107671
Well you're unironically correct. They just cleaned up the engine bay really well and installed a bunch of meme parts like aftermarket hoses and aftermarket radiator/coolant overflow. Polished up the intake turbo, painted valve cover, put in rol lcage, etc...
nothing special
who here has a 3 car garage?
is it attached?
is it detached?
do you have a lift?
what about any sort of heating or cooling?
is it finished?
do you have 3 doors or 2?
>>17107589
Three car garage, w/ three doors. Currently only accommodates one car because there's so much crap stored in there.
No garage, just a small driveway.
Zillow has a filter for bedrooms, but no filter for garages.
I actually started looking at buying a house with a garage so I could buy a second car.
>>17107589
We have a two car garage and a one car garage

I've been to 3 mechanics and 1 front end shop. They've all said everything looks fine. Well it's not.
-My steering is too stiff and heavy.
-When I brake, I hear a creaking/clunk more pronounced when turning (ONLY in Drive)
-I can feel every single bump on the road and my front struts squench/squeak on big ones
-My braking seems to take longer than usual and It feels like I'm slightly nosediving but I could be imagining.
-Highway speeds there is vibration
I've been told it is my strut mounts or steering rack. Pretty much impossible for it to be rack considering the symptoms. I'm thinking the struts themselves. I've been on every single forum imaginable and 3 mechanics.
Please Help. It's a 2008 Impala with only 66,000 miles.
I put some money into smaller stuff trying to solve the problem by chance. I went with a new engine mount and new control arm bushings. Sway bar links were recently changed, and no visible leaks or cuts from CV boot. Tie rod ends and control arms have no play.
Is the vibration felt through the steering wheel more than the floor?
>>17107044
Slight vibration in steering wheel.
Not as noticeable as the floor vibrations.
I'll look over to my right and see the passenger headrest vibrating too. Also hearing rattles that I've never heard before due to the vibrations.
This is a very clean car and drove like a smooth sailing barge literally 1000 miles ago.
I need advice /o/.
Im not really a car guy, but I just bought a used c7 corvette since I finally graduated and got a good paying job off the bat (software engineer).
The first guy to race me was on some old looking crotch rocket and just absolutelly embarressed me. This is bullshit, I didnt pay that much to be slower than some piece of shit motorcycle, how do I make my car go faster? Thanks
More air in, more gas in, more exhaust out
That's what you need
Or a 200 shot of NOS
>>17106925
How do you get nos?
>>17106931
Gotta go to the local speedshop. They might refuse, but insist that your welds can handle it. It's a fucking Vette after all, that manifold is good shit.
46
Check'em
Damn it, how good would it have been if the post ended in 46?

61 for E61 M5
Instead of car listing websites only using (MANUAL) and (AUTOMATIC) for their transmission filters, it should be DOES THIS HAVE A CLUTCH PEDAL (YES) (NO).
Too many people trying to pawn off SMGs and DCTs as true manuals. Regardless of the design of the transmission, if the person isn't necessary to shift the gears and get it moving then it isn't a true manual. Can I get an Amen.
>>17106566
>if the person isn't necessary to shift the gears
So my Veloster doesn't need me to get in, turn the ignition, and put it in drive for it to operate?
That's a neat feature anon. Those fucking idiot salesmen forgot to show me how that works.
>>17106744
>veloster
he baiting all out now
>>17106566
so by your definition motorcycles are automatic?
I've googled up and down and couldn't find a way to do it and can't afford the $70-$80 labor fee at the moment does anyone know how to do it?
we don't know. sorry anon
>>17106009
>BMW
>can't afford $70
>wants to tune car
Are you fucking serious dude?
>bought a BMW
>cant spend $70 on non-essential work
This is why we're in debt.
Does anyone here have a tape deck in their shitbox?
>>17105975
