this
>>
>>906272
this. both disgusting
>>
If you consider how much you pay for a Bike without brakes and gears, and compare it to a bike with actual gears and brakes.. You know then how stupid you really are
>>
>>906360
>Fuji Feather
>Fuji Track Classic
>KHS Flite 100
>Mercier Kilo TT
>Linus Roadster
>Pake Rum Runner
All these solid budget choices, and youre tied between two pieces of shit. The chain slack on the second bike makes me sad.

Sorry, meant to reply to the op.

Too play the Devils advocate: actual tark bieks have a looser-tensioned chain...

Ops bike pics aren't tark bike, tho. So no harm-no foul. He still dum.

that paint is amazing, I like it. also trips
>>
>>909221
why back brake instead of front? or both
>>
>>909283
Back brakes alone are dangerous, I never use them when I have both, so I took it off -- it's also good for bar spins
>>
>>909293
I mean front brakes******

As someone clueless and ignorant, which of those are single-speeds?
Are they all fixie garbage?
>>
>>909351
Most come with flip flop hubs (You can choose single speed or fixed)
>>
>>909293
>>909301

jesus penis, it's only dangerous if you're an idiot and grab your brakes in a panic

otherwise front brakes might be safer than just back brakes because you can apply more braking force / stop in a shorter distance

if the lever is on your handlebar you can't bar spin either way, right? you'd need downtube brakes or something (lol).
>>
>>909398
>can't bar spin
You can, if you install a detangler.

I like the post crashed seat, well worn equipment is the best. Means you ride it, not just look at it.

Also old school stem is nice
>>
>>909399
not the anon you are replying to but my gyros always had the upper cables fall apart after a few weeks, the ends would just straight up rip apart.
>>
>>909440
Thanks anon
>>909399
I'll check this out, thanks
>>
>>909351
They are all single-speed.

>>909396
>(You can choose single speed or fixed)
No hub permits this.

>>909398
If your brake hose/cable is long enough you can spin with a rear brake no problem.
>>
>>909561

Reality wants a word with you. https://www.google.co.nz/search?q=flip+flop+hub&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=JKV_VrPPE-W1mwXb1ICwAQ
>>
>>909585
That Google search only serves to support my point. None of those hubs are geared.
>>
>>909811
Because he is not talking about switching between geared and fixed. Flip flop hubs (like the ones being discussed that are regularly equipped on urban fixies) are singlespeed/fixed. If you wanna change the gearing you swap out the cogs or chainring.
>>
Get the Access Raptor from Performance Bicycle.

I hear only great things about it
>>
>>906271
both crappy
