Can we agree that these Renault-Elf jerseys were the best jerseys ever produced? Also, cool kit general.
do want

Came here to post this. All other kits are just colourful billboards. Its nice that canyon sram have more emphasis on the design aspect of the clothes themselves.
How autistic would it be to ride in one of these?

so many constructions going on here you can literally not walk from A to B as sidewalks are fenced left and right
Yes, people must be protected because some dumbfuck will fall down a hole or a brick will hit them I get it, but don't fucking externalize your construction cost on my sidewalk ever again
>implying a fence will help when a crane topples over

For the last year they've been doing major renovations of the main street I live off of and I've had to put up with this, too, in addition to the pavement being so shitty and torn up. You either put up with it or you find another route around it, either way no point in crying about it.
>>1066307
I just stop and toss these into the ditch.
NAME THIS HELMET
just getting into riding
>>1065434
its your standard run of the mill half face motorcycle helmet with a visor
It's a moped/electric scooter helmet.
>>1065434
that's the Fagatron 9000.
Who here lifts alongside cycling?
What does your routine/schedule look like?
How does it affect your recovery?
Was thinking of getting into cycling cause it seems fun, but I'm afraid it might cause me to stall or not progress as fast when it comes to my lifting shit.
if you just want to be a fat fuck powerlifter, don't ride
if you want to be fit, of course do both
I have to dial back on the leg stuff because I ride 6 days a week, but my legs are already huge
>>1062837
I lift 4-5 days a week along with commuting by bike almost everywhere that i go. has not affected me so far in terms of recovery and whatnot
>>1062837
I like being fast so lifting is not an option, bro.
It's like a mixture of laundromat and diesel.
>>1062505
Hundreds of people use them everyday.
It's a wonder they smell as good as they do, considering the amount of homeless folk on the train.
>>1062520
I take a commuter train every day that doesn't have any poor people on it. It still smells bad

Is it possible that Simon Richardson is the best boy?
No, but its possible his mother was raped by a wild boar.
He's kind of a douchebag sometimes. But overall a very nice guy. 10/10 would ride with.

bicycle related tool talk
questions, comments, favorite tools etc.
pic is my EDC tool kit. I'm thinking about replacing my gerber diesel since it's 4+ years old with 2-3 broken drivers, recommendations? I have no reason to replace the hexus II but it's close to touching 10 years old and would receive an honorable retirement on my tool bench for living a serviceable life.
>>1069692
I would just not carry a non bicycle multi tool. You shouldn't need the folding knives and scissors, and you have screw drivers so those are redundant. Instead carry a patch kit, a decent tire lever (Pedro's), a pump. I like to carry electric tape. But like most edc threads, you carry way too much. Adjustable wrench? Why?
>>1069758
I do carry a patch kit that I didn't picture since it's just a jar of elmer's rubber cement and a couple of patches. I have a Pro Bike Tools pump coming in, hopefully they are a good brand?
I hear you on carrying too many tools, my bike bag is way too heavy but I also do more than bike work so I kinda need the adjustable crescent and gerber. I'll be carrying a mini floor pump with me so my bag will only get heavier.
Is there really any use for a chain breaker? I've never come acrosss a need for one cycling and maintaining my bikes, although i do use chains with power links... Is it only good for when putting a new chain on and sizing it?
Recently due to getting memed by Schwalbe Quality Bicycle Tires or whatever his name is, I decided to try these tubes after buying only Conti for years
The first tube I used was added 3 weeks and 450 miles ago and I have yet to need to add air to that tire
Is this just a fluke or are Schwalbes really much better? I have never experienced anything like this and I am questioning my sanity at this point
I realize this didn't really need a thread but the foamer's self-pitying whining inspired me to make a new bike related thread
>>1068035
>implying you're not Schwalbe Professional Bicycle Tires posting as Anon.
>>1068035
>>1068047
even if op is a shill posting as anon, I pick Schwalbe over Continental mostly on
>The company is a third generation,[1] family owned business with global reach.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwalbe_(tire_manufacturer)
Me coming from a 5th generation family of tradesmen, I'll take build quality over world class r&d. Not that Schwalbe is lacking in r&d but if their best tire is still the Marathon, then by all means don't change what isn't broke
t. had a 90's hybrid with 27" tires and these schwalbes that would be classified as (((urban tires))) today
Bought conti gatorskin at the LBS today to replace the 8 year old bontrager rear that's went flat on my last two rides. I basically walked in and told the guy to give me the best, most puncture resistant tire he had. Shit was $55 which is about 12 more than on amazon.
Did I do ok? I know fuck all about road bike tires, but I have run a few sets of conti sportbike tires.
>mfw i stayed with 700x23 because that's all they had in stock for the conti
Find a flaw.
The front of the ship can fall off.

Is that by design?
Where do you put the containers?

>Michele Scarponi has been killed while training at home early on Saturday morning.
>According to reports in local media and Gazzetta dello Sport, the 38 year-old Astana rider had left home early for a short ride after finishing the Tour of the Alps on Friday and returning to his home in Filottrano in the central Le Marche region of Italy.

For me it's the Cloverleaf the best interchange; intelligent, nihilistic and with a wicked sense of humor.
>people slowing down in the same space others need to speed up
Many have single bridges so even less separation between on / off ramp than in above pic.

All capacities.

What makes them superior? Being able to buy a £100 welder and fixing a crack yourself instead of paying half that to have a more skilled guy weld your aluminium frame? Do skinny tubes give you a hard on?

Wow, that's a big train.
