>Yeah, it's like, one of the prettiest albums I've ever heard!
>when you ask a Jewish girl what she listens to
Most girls who I'm friends with like Tame Impala, Radiohead, Chemical Brothers, Pink Floyd.
If I find a girl who likes Throbbing Gristle I'm marrying her. Not that they're an obscure band, but it would be a sign that they're open minded
idk my girlfriend was bumping pic related when we started talking
> being this much of a fucking idiot
hey man i realized i was bein memed real quick don't group me with the other fella
My last gf was into this stuff.
The Shins and Tame Impala are alright, I didn't get why people like 1975
lol I had been talking to this girl and we only hung out 3 times (she goes to a different college) when she surprised me with a signed copy of a I Love You Honeybear vinyl. We both like the album but damn...
Then 2 weeks after she have me that present she told me she had a boyfriend. Fucking strange encounter
I remember when this was something to split hairs over.
Then a few years went by, shit like this became a thing, and Local Natives are starting to look pretty damn good by comparison.
I thought the other album was better, but I like Local Natives. Solid chill friend hangout background music, and they put on a pretty good show
Exalting it as anything other than nice to hear is stupid
Yes a guy, 21.
Took me a little bit to not be annoyed by his voice and verbosity, but once I got past that it's just groovy, catchy track after groovy, catchy track.
Each layer of the core components they use is good and usually melodically interesting.
I love the 80's influence and homages.
Can anyone explain what they are hated so much?
I don't know in which boring place you live, in my place many girls listen to alternative music or some sub genres no one heard about, it is nearly obnoxious. Some of them have great taste though.
>talking to more than one girl
