I was just a child and...
Now I'm only a man.
These threads started as a way for people who weren't so great with words to express how they felt about music. Once upon a time, the majority of posts in this type of thread were serious opinions. Oftentimes, if you liked an album in either the whatIGot/whatIListened box, you could look at the other box and catch a good recommendation.
Nowadays, the majority of posts in these threads are split between trolls acting irrationally pissy about one album or wannabe comedians collecting (you)s.
This is too accurate. I don't think I've ever come across something as disappointing as Art Angels.
how the fuck am i supposed to interpret these. like if u just put a bunch of hipster/anime stereotypes in the expected box then u put like a goddamn space cityspace and people acting all amazed in the got box, what does that tell me aside from "i thought it'd be bad but it was good"
isn't this meant to be giving us a peek into how the album sounds
what the fuck are you kidding me
tv static - noise
hammer & sickle - blatant socialist ideas
tumblr - lets talk about gender baby, lets talk about you and me
end extreme wealth - its an actual promotional photo
the knife tried to reinvent their sound and throw a curveball for their final release, which is exactly what they fucking did. There is no hidden or pretentious message in the album, it is just an experimental album with a very unique sound and a very raw leftist overtone, anyone who didnt get it is looking too deep
Again one of the 'you need to switch them LOLZ' faggots. If you seriously think this album deserves any higher than a 5/10 you are one tasteless memer and should fuck off to 9gag.
I'm probably the only one who had this experience, so feel free to disregard this post
i've never agreed more, that album is absolute garbage.
shit tier production with a flow that doesnt fit, trying to be political when he doenst realise he's already lost him.
I remember that dre clip "you gotta keep it nigga" and kendrick not realising he already lost it.
Went to go see the local symphony put this on cuz "hey, the ninth." And I was surprised by how little I enjoyed myself.
Literally the scherzo is the only part that's still listenable for me.
I stole the idea for that one from a post that ended up introducing me to one of my favorite bands.
The kid is starving to death, not crying, if that conveys more peace...
Like, he/she's lying down from exhaustion from hunger and dehydration
>David, the doctor cannot save your dog
>there's people who unironically think this album is good
