i'm a lot more patrician than anyone who likes Yeezus, so don't come in saying anything about that
you guys are over inflating your ratings way too much
lel Pink Floyd doesn't have 5 near perfect albums...and Ummagumma as well as their debut are some of their best works. Agree with AHM and Meddle being highly rated though.
Kinda agreeable, but ratings too high. Also I enjoy the singer in Trespass more until Selling England.
Pretty solid, don't like Discipline that much because New Wave music or whatever.
So much better, but Meddle is good and Dark Side/ Animals aren't that bad.
Troll I assume
Radiohead not that good but pretty close.
Good, but Yeezus is okay.
Yea wtf is wrong with all these perfect ratings being given out.
Pretty gud but >>62052041
Yea I guess my ratings on Tales should be reduced by one point my bad. A little different than giving out 5 perfect ratings for even fewer albums.
Also my opinion on PF is hardly one that only I share...just because it doesn't agree with the mass public doesn't mean that it is contrarian.
>just because it doesn't agree with the mass public doesn't mean that it is contrarian
Sorry wrong post...I just like it because it is interesting in a different way. Some parts are bad, but The Narrow Way and Side 1 are high points for me.
I am saying that just because most people in western society think that DSOTM is the best shit ever and I don't doesn't invalidate my opinion. Most people have horrible taste in music.
>I am saying that just because most people in western society think that DSOTM is the best shit ever and I don't doesn't invalidate my opinion
You are moving the goal post.
First you were arguing that your opinion was not contrarian, and now you're saying it's not invalid. I never said it was invalid, just that it was contrarian.
>leaving out Reckoning
>leaving out Accelerate
>leaving out CIN
I say Chronic Town, then Murmur. If you love that, keep going chronologically. If you don't, I suggest Automatic for the People.
Animal Collective ratings:
Spirit They're Gone, Spirit They've Vanished - 7/10
Danse Manatee - 4/10
Hollinndagain - 7/10
Campfire Songs - 6/10
Here Comes the Indian - 7/10
Sung Tongs - 8/10
Feels - 7/10
Strawberry Jam - 7/10
Merriweather Post Pavilion - 9/10
Centipede Hz - 10/10
Just kinda weird that you would think people fake their opinions on stuff to impress anonymous strangers who will never know them.
If you are referring to me enjoying Ummagumma, I think that Side 1 has the best versions of those four songs (which are all really good anyways). While some of the projects on Side 2 are better than others, I enjoy them all in varying amounts for the independent personalities they show.
>thinking Tunnel of Love is worse than USA.
Pleb fucking central. Correct ranking of whole discography:
1. The River
2. Tunnel of Love
4. Born to Run
5. Darkness on the Edge of Town
6. The Wild, the Innocent, and the E-Street Shuffle
7. Born in the USA
8. Greetings, from Asbury Park NJ
9. The Rising
10. Lucky Town
11. We Shall Overcome
12. Wrecking Ball
14. Devils and Dust
15. The Ghost of Tom Joad
16. High Hopes
17. Working on a Dream
18. Human Touch
Once again The wild the innocent and the e Street shuffle is overlooked. It's his 5th best album.
The Seeger sessions
These are 6-8/10
Darkness on the edge of town is also his best album.
You're definitely not along, the metal generals fucking hate them, and I know a lot of people that just don't like metalcore and tech death so they can't get into them.
They're not for everyone I guess
