only those with cunts allowed
>girl group general
why do you people even stay on /mu/ since all you care about are the girls?
like i don't mind lewdposting about girlgroups in kpg, it's funny, but why do you stay on mu if you get so distressed by boys and just want to kfap?
no matter how much you cry or how much you bitch or how much you report we will ALWAYS be here and there is literally NOTHING you can do about it
>all these gaypop fags spamming because their feelings got hurt
this is the true face of your shitty kind
"music discussion" my ass, all you wanna do is spam your gayboys
you're no better than the kfappers you always criticize
>tfw come up behind reeney while she is ironing red velvets outfits
>slide your hands around her warm soft waist and up to her 24 years old bosom
>rest your hands there while she finishes the ironing
no because fan girls will buy even farting noises
the best example are double standards in scandals
girl group is bulling - is hated
oppa is bulling - so CUTE
girl group dislike dumplings - fucking whores
gaypop dislike something - oppa is so CUTE
kpop fans are mostly girls so gaypops have easier to get fame, and sell tons of albums
I am biased towards female voices over male voices.
And to be honest, the style of music is very different when comparing girl groups versus boy groups. They know what appeals to their demographic.
Feel free to make a boy group general though!
Doesn't matter to me as long as he nere does this again. JYP...
did you listen to bts most beautiful moment in life parts 1 and 2? honestly they are musically a bit 1 dimensional, but they are good at what they do
whalien 52 and converse high are real good, their vocalists are great
>girl groups market is smaller so they have to make better music
this doesn't make sense. girlgroups get hits with generic cute and sexy songs all the time because that's what the general public wants from them. The GP doesn't give a fuck about musical quality most of the time, they want cute/sexy and vocal showoffing and the like. That a smaller market makes for better songs is such a backwards argument desu
boygroups, on the other hand, have to compete for fandoms with interesting concepts and songs, and their tastes are different from the casual GP. If the "market" is larger, there are more people competing, more songs, and better songs by statistical inevitability.
I'm not saying the market argument is true. though. there is no ostensible difference imo, both girlpop and boypop have rightfully legendary songs and groups in the same measure, and the overall level is the same. However, you are missing half the good music if you refuse to listen to boypop, and half the concepts in kpop.
>no because fan girls will buy even farting noises
have you seen what is popular with the gp? literally the worst songs that groups make sell the most a lot of the time. sistar has rattled off stuff like touch my body, some and shake it for years now. there's a reason why everyone goes to brave brothers.
meanwhile, boy groups get to do some interesting stuff because they have dedicated fandoms who are even into some kind of weird and intense songs. not that the gp isn't sometimes too, but the claim you're trying to make about different audiences doesn't work this simply.
Man, that beginning scene with the classroom and the bald white teacher, Sistar completely copied and pasted it in their "Shake It" music video, except made it a third of the whole video:
Hes because people who post male idols simply image post or spam day in and day out. Their discussion is simply wanting to see their feet or pits. Or calling idols sluts, ect. Real music discussion there.
hip hop, soul, edm, trap, r&b
and they tried to incorporate some elements into their new music
back started with a trap beat, and their is a trap drop in the middle of oppa, very likely thanks to lim
girls are the biggest part of the actual fandom of almost any pop act, as far as i know
i think that's true for western singers as well. like think of rihanna fans; there are guys who like her casually in the general public and fap to her or whatever, but the actual fans are mostly girls (and gays).
lim does post some really christian stuff on her instagram as well
its just interesting to me that a girl that does all that and looks this neat loves trap
I think ot has to do with the image of men and women in Korea. Women have to stick to cute or sex or be criticized. Not too cute or too sexy either or get ot anyway. But boy groups don't have that restriction and are able to do different concepts. Plus there is more competition to be a top boy group so you have to keep it fresh and set the group aprt or find a hook and stick to it for the most part rather than just always flip flop between cute and sexy.
going to college while living with parents fucking sucks
Sure if you look at two groups. A lot more to it than that. This is just a generalization. This doesn't mean there aren't generic boy groups or girl groups woth the same cute or sexy concept.
Bobby, yes. BI is his name? No. I can forgive ugly idols because its not their fault and most times they work on the album if they are in a boy group.
He just has a horse face..
we love pretty girls here
Now listen here you queers. Leave us alone. High test alphas like myself only want to listen to girls squealing. Get this gay masculine shit off of my thread!
it's Jisoo that makes my posts so good, not me
yeah, and i think it's also that girlgroups compete for the casual public's attention since they make their money from endorsements, while boy groups can sell albums and concerts to people who are really into idols and the music.
there is more variety, imo. of course there are lots of generic concepts too, and there are girlgroups like BEG who always have strong concepts, and sometimes lesser girlgroups come up with something interesting like Closer. But in general, I think it's fair to say boygroups do those more, and have weirder and more intense songs as well.
even without arguing boygroups are *more* varied, they are at least *as* varied and you are missing out half the good kpop by not listening to them.
Nah, the only ugly ones are Suga, Rap Mon, and J Hope. Thats like half of the group though. Only Jin is the best looking.
Block B and iKON take bad visuals to another level but they are forgiven. I still wonder how Zico was an SM trainee when he is definitely not what they look for.
yuihan is more waifu material than mayuyu
Come back again is such a great song. Look at how far they've come.
I want to bully that little gremlin
until they recycled the same sound and song structure through sexy love/number 9/sugar free, anyway.
they stopped being chameleons a long time ago, now it's more that they have a recognizable feeling every time, maybe more than other groups
cool I really like her and I hope you will post her here
I wonder if she used to get love letters back in school...
is this goth jimin? it's Ham
or if you mean the tiny member, she's Boram.
T-Ara just as a unique sound like Infinite and stick to it like Infinite. Its not EXID level but they base their popularity on a meme anyway.
One of the few that do that.
>completely ignoring so crazy
oops. that's true, but everyone does a generic bravesound song nowadays desu
>comparing sugar free to sexy love is just too much desu
i don't think so. they both rely on the EXACT same structure and a heavy danceable riff, just like Number Nine. Those riffs are very similar too, you could pretty much cut and paste them between the songs without affecting feeling.
well the soundscapes and instrumentation are a bit different but there is a recognizable continuity in musical ideas, imo. It's not like how they would go from Cry Cry and Lovey Dovey to Roly Poly and Day By Day, completely different songs.
Handsome tier: Jin
Cute tier: Jungkook
Average korean guy if you put makeup and styling on him tier: V, Suga
Hot body too bad about the face tier: Jimin
Uglee tier: j hope, rap monster
>ham and some seanigger are dating
no, i mean there is an instrumental hook that serves exactly the same purpose in each of the songs, placed in precisely the same way: the robot duck squeak in sexy love, the sparrow sound in number nine, the big synth riff in Sugar Free.
obviously there are things between ballads and dance songs, but these three were all heavy dance songs by the same composer in a similar style with the same structure and similar chords and melodies.
Jimin has his times but he has chubby cheeks. V's visuals are meant to be kind of average like the good looking kid in class and Jin's is supposed to be like a rich handsome guy. I wish they put V to more use other than being happy and weird. He sings decently and has expirence on the sax.
>I arrive at hotel. good night
lol thanks for the update ham
I had no idea mics like that were three feet long.
Also what the fuck is this bullshit?
why are you so defensive? I never said there was anything wrong with it, just that they ditched their chameleon concept for a very recognizable sound lately, and became more like other groups in that way. 1,2,3,4 sounds like it's going to be the same too.
all three songs use very similar musical ideas. there's nothing wrong with it, it's just true.
their costumes and concepts were a lot more different for each song than were the songs, so that comparison doesn't really work.
Handsome tier: JB, Junior, Mark
Cute tier: Jackson, yugyeom
Average guy without makeup tier: Youngjae
Ugly tier: Bambam
Handsome tier: Jaehyo, Ukwon
Cute tier: Taeil
Average guy without makeup tier: B-Bomb
Ugly tier: Pyoji, Zico, Kyung
no they weren't
>similar instrumental hooks in the same place
>similar melancholy mood
they ditched the chameleon concept at this point, let's be honest
Block B is "seven ugly dudes trying to make it" according to Zico. "Six because I'm not ugly" acording to Jaehyo. I appriciate what Zico, Kyung, and PO do for their last full album.
