idk why you didn't post a telecaster then. Everyone knows there's no such thing as a red telecaster.
More Nazi crap? You're stinking up the place.
My guitar teacher had me read all the notes in a piece aloud, ignoring sharps, flats and note values. So it was like, "a g f g d f a b g c f d f a."
Rhythmical articulation was treated separately but in the same way... " 1 & 2-e-&-a 3-trip-let 4 &-a."
Last basic block is knowing all the notes on the fretboard. Then you put it all together. By the time you get here, it clicks.

Oh, and just so you have more to cry about since you're a thin skinned faggot, have this pic. This is 4chan, not your tumblr safe space with trigger warnings and retarded shit like that.
>tfw you will never impregnate zombierella in your lifetime
why even live
They are barely /gg/ related aside from the fact that they play guitars. Might as well post 5SOS since they also do the same thing.
>tfw you can't even frogpost without fucking it up
>this isn't your usual internet site buddy this is 4chan we're badass here you arent ready for us!
Did some logo design ideas for my handmade guitar project. Pick your fav. I prefer the one that is the most left in there.
>implying im the other poster
yeah nah, it's being an edgelord at its finest
>th-this is my cool deepweb bbs where we say nigger a lot!!
let's get back on topic
has anyone here herd of this company before? http://www.rondomusic.com/electricguitar.html
some of these designs are incredible and i hear that for the price they play like high end professional guitars, maybe even better
>barely /gg/ related
I'd say it's more like barely /pol/ related
>tfw no fender twin reverb
but it's not, it would actually be edgy to claim 4chan is a tumblr-like community with safe spaces and shit.
>barely /gg/ related
>tfw m00t's gf now lets him post in 4chan again
you get quality for that money
rondo is know in the industry as the brand where you get the most bang for your buck
>it would actually be edgy to claim 4chan is a tumblr-like community
not the guy you're replying to but i dont think you quite understand what edgy is mai friendo
I just checked that place and all I see is just ironic shitposting about relevant news topics, how is that even related to my comment about 5SOS?
bumping with more Messer Chups:
>you will never be as based as oleg gitarkin and zombierella
why even live
>not the guy you're replying to but i dont think you quite understand what edgy is mai friendo
not him but I think it's pretty edgy to tell 4chan it's not edgy
gibson are entry level compared to rondo
>paying 800 dollars extra for a logo and the satisfaction knowing some fat american fuck is using the money to fuel his hamburgers
buying a rondo means a far east asian gets to eat for another day and look after his family, are you relly such a monster that you would pick an inferior instrument AND kill someone?
>implying you wouldn't hit that
Oh fuck off.
>the brand where you get the most bang for your buck
Only if you live in the US
Anywhere else and the shipping charges and roulette with QA mean there are far better options for budget instruments
>Anywhere else and the shipping charges and roulette with QA mean there are far better options for budget instruments
yeah sure. Squier shill detected.
pick one. To answer your question, SX or Agile?
Any rob chappers fan on here?
Fucking LOVE his videos he's so a musially creative (and hilarious) person!
Just got my first guitar a chapman ML-1, i'm shit right now but the next time his teachign school comes to town im sure he'll get me shredding with the big boys
SXs are made in China, Agiles in Korea. You can't go wrong with either one of them, thanks to the superior Asian craftsmanship. It's true that CIA guitars are the best, but that means Crafted in Asia.
>yeah sure. Squier shill detected.
Not him but they won't honor returns if you live outside the USA. So the whole "if you don't like it send it back!" only really applies to clapistanians.
The cheapest South Korean factory for the Agiles. A step below World Music.
>SX or Agile?
Probably Agile but even then I'd opt for a different Korean made guitar.
So glad he cut those dreads.
Only Asian craftsmanship ever worth mentioning is MiJ. Koreans are good mid-range instruments most of the time.
That's expected, he's a vegan. He's also losing his hair.
he's written some of the best music of the last 5 years in his band Dorje, he has one of the best singing voices you'll ever hear, he has a hilarious youtube channel and he produces guitars that are perfect for beginners and professionals alike
tell me one thing bad about him. what? you cant? thought so. and for the record i bet chappers could shred you into an early grave any day of the week
>saying anything bad about rondo
what fucking company are you working for?
>indo is probably best value
Nah, Indo imports are really 50/50 at best depending on the brand, only brand I've found them to be really bang for buck is Schecter Omens which are great modding platforms + come with in-house Schecter pups which sound aight for a cheapo. Usually a MiK guitar from World Music is gonna give you your best value for money.
>I honestly can't tell if this post is post-ironic or if you got horribly conned into memes, kek
I don't even know anymore, I try to be helpful with what I deem as legit questions.
>what fucking company are you working for?
Ur mum lmao
>thinking we're unironically saying good stuff about Rondo
you got definitely sucked into the memes, kek
everyone here knows Rondo is shit, we just pretend it's THE shit
Did you actually believe we thought Rondos were better than Gibson Custom Shop guitars? lel. In fact, the guy asking about rondos is most likely memeing too.
The whole situation is hysterical, kek
im seeing a lot of good things about this rondo comany in this thread. is there a guitar made by rondo in collaboration with chapman? i want the best guitar possible but i also want to support rob's channel
Meant to quote >>62033480 instead of >>62033530
All this memeing is fucking with my head
>The whole situation is hysterical, kek
The memes have gone too far.
I never said to buy a Chapman? In fact I'd recommend a PRS SE, LTD 400+ series or a Schecter Diamond Series over them any day. You get better specs and in my opinion much better designs.
Shit I just got memed again.
Come on at least try 2/10
Two times in a row? It's stale.
I'd fuck her. I highly doubt that I would cry after.
How did you manage to write so much and not come up with anything even remotely relevant or real? I guess you deserve some praise for skillfully intertwining straw man, ad hominem and projection in a single pass, though.

I get you don't like memes, but Messer Chups is hardly "nazi". They are a RUSSIAN band that plays neo-50s SURF ROCK with some psychedelic and 50s B-movie soundtrack influences, including the usage of theremins. Their music videos are B-movie inspired too. There's hardly anything "nazi" about them. If I really wanted to trigger you hard, I'd have posted Hanzel und Gretyl instead. Pretty sure they are actual nazi sympathizers despite their claim that it's just about aesthetics. Or I could have posted some Johnny Rebel stuff, although it's shit tbqh.
No matter how much I practice and how fast I get, I still can't play chords without setting my fingers on the strings one. by. one. every. fucking. time. Makes me wanna FUCKING CUT THEM OFF!!!!
>Hanzel und Gretyl
BTW I just learned they made this, HuG+black metal memes are a dream come true
Slow it right down and practice changing between two chords, say G and D.
Do it as slowly as you need to do it consistently right, then speed it up bit by bit.
Building the "muscle memory" takes time, anon, but it will come quicker if you use your brain as well as your muscles
Who Should Buy a Rondo Music Branded Guitar Guitar: In general, these guitars are great for beginners or novice players to learn on. They are all full sized (same size as a standard electric guitar or bass guitar). They stay in tune and the necks are straight. They are also good for expert players who need a guitar to “kick around with”. Something they can bring to a friend's house, and not worry about scratching, like they would with a $1000 American made guitar. In general the Brice basses and Agile guitars offer slightly improved quality and some upgraded features (such as maple quilt tops) over the SX, Douglas and Valencia models. However, the cost of these models is higher as well.
Guys, started playing a week ago, bought the cheapest Cort strat on an impulse (Cort G100, 100$). Was it a mistake?
if it looks like a guitar and plays like a guitar, it's fine, you can learn on it
Sick of the blooze lawyers in /gg/ telling people to buy a full on fender for their first fucking guitar
>Who Should Buy a Rondo Music Branded Guitar Guitar: In general, these guitars are great for beginners or novice players to learn on.
Just like almost any guitar. I'd rather have an affinity than a rondo though
>They stay in tune and the necks are straight.
Not always the case. Also they have had lots of problems with truss rods that ship stripped.
>They are also good for expert players who need a guitar to “kick around with”. Something they can bring to a friend's house, and not worry about scratching, like they would with a $1000 American made guitar.
An Squier is better for that.
>In general the Brice basses and Agile guitars offer slightly improved quality and some upgraded features (such as maple quilt tops) over the SX, Douglas and Valencia models. However, the cost of these models is higher as well.
You're better off with a Classic Vibe for that price range.
Whatever kid, enjoy your linkin park or limp biskit album I guess
>linkin park or limp biskit album
metalfags are well and truly stuck in the past
The only thing that is bothers me, is at the shop, they told me, "it is already setup". Later found out, the shop owner meant the Cort manufacturer's default "comes as setup" feature. To be honest, even after looking videos on youtube, I can't decide if it is setup properly or not, but the funny thing, if a professional setup cost 50$, it is half the cost of the guitar.
what >>62034185 said
neck bow, saddle height and intonation are piss easy to do yourself. just go in small increments and you wont fuck shit up. remember to detune a bit before doing anything that'll stress the strings. plenty of youtube videos out there on the subject.
what you want to pay for is fret work and possibly electric stuff depending on how good you're at that. and of course, repairs.
Had my buddy come over last night to add some mandolin and slide guitar to an instrumental I've been working on this week.
Composition is done, mixing has a ways to go yet:
Gretsch G9200 Resonator
so i bought one of these used yesterday for $100, thinking about flipping it but might keep it for gigs. Do they actually sell for good money online or did i fuck up?
Does anyone else runs in two distortions at the same time ?
I'm running an EHX micro metal muff infront of a micro dark terror and it pretty much compensates a lot the lack of controls the amp has, I can pull off a surprising amount of gain styles with it.
>tfw 2/3 of your rig is micro
>ordered a rarewood 5 string bass
>it's really fucking nice
>huh, I also want a fretless somehow
>but I want to mix things up, so let's get a "fender clone" looking one
Help guys, I mixed up my clichés. Also, I don't see a point in buying a 4-string anymore, ever. Once you get used to it a 5-string is just as easy to play and you just turn the B-string into a thumb rest if you don't need it.
I wish I just bought a 5 string for my first bass, there is no reason why a beginner should stick to a 4 string if they have even a slight interest in ever getting a 5-string.
No, walnut top with mahagony body and an ebony fretboard.
I don't think so, no.
I feel the same for 7 strings, the lower string barely makes the neck larger and doesn't get in the way when playing, while giving a lot more options for chords or arpeggios.
I haven't tried 8 strings so I don't know if it's still true for them.
Because I'm poor and can just bend if I want to play out of tune.
I want one but I think it'll be just like the time I defretted a neck, a cool gimmick for a while but it's not worthwhile unless you plan on devoting yourself entirely to mastering it.
Almost finished layering the primer on my guitar project. Fucked up the paintjob the first time because I was too impatient, now really taking my time. Neck is completely done, except for holes for bolt on..
Yes the concept is stolen from the Bluetone strat, however that one has a white body, this one is lightblue..
3rd example down....is there a name for that type of neck angle?? Is there a name for the 1st example??
I know the differences, but there has to be a term for this. Low profile/high profile?
five decades if you are me (im not the same guy)
I learned how minor pentatonics scales work this week, after 10 years of playing I can finally improvise a little bit over power chords,
Hey /gg/... question - how do I learn to play cuban style like this: https://youtu.be/wlskErEWuRI?t=7m13s
the only resources i can find are intricate classical guitar pieces by the likes of villa lobos etc. but that's not what im interested in. i just wanna learn some cool progressions and transitions like in the above video
oh and i bought a mexican standard tele today. i had a les paul custom but my friend broke it to the point of no return so its taken me a while to be able to afford another guitar. im a poorfag so like, 3 years of saving
it arrives tomorrow so all I can do is show the order. got £10 off a lil orange amp for my troubles because it was a display model with a scratch on the front that they seemed kinda keen to get rid of
>les paul custom
I hope you mean ex friend
It's called Son Montuno. Most of it is just major and minor chords with lots of double stops and 3rd harmonies for the leads.
My suggestion would be just to listen to a lot of it and try to figure it out by ear, it's not hard. The guitar wasn't really common so you'll have to listen to "Tres" music to see how it translates to a fretted string instrument.
Arsenio Rodriguez, Duo Los Compadres, Papi Oviedo are good starting points.
(or if you want a white boy pastiche on guitar check out Marc Ribot y Los Cubanos Postizos)
A better answer than I could have hoped for, thanks man. This will keep me occupied for a while.
Indeed. He dropped it headstock first and the neck split down the middle up to the 2nd fret. the amount i was getting quoted for repairs was the same as a new guitar so i just decided to move on. the worst part is he didnt tell me he just kept stalling on giving it back, so i had to go round and insist on getting it back and that's when i found out it was broken
I would, but apparently my neck of the woods is running short of haberdasheries. No matter how hard I try, I just can't find a quality fedora to save my life.
How can be a supreme djentleman without first having a fedora?
I think they go for 300ish on ebay? That's for the pink one though I dunno what the black one goes for.
Just keep it though, who cares about flipping it when you could be owning a hello kitty guitar
Anyone ever try a larrivee L series acoustic?
what did you think of it?
also we need to have some acoustic content in this thread I feel
>letting a friend borrow a gibson les paul custom
well there's your problem. My guitars only leave my posession if theyre being paid for.
Any pictures of it, anon?
Thanks man, I was shocked when they agreed to the discount. Got 2 sets of ernie ball's thrown in as well with free express delivery. havent owned an electric for a few years now so its a big moment
fuck, my bad. wasn't a "custom" like I said, but a "studio". the guy in the shop told me it was a custom way back when and i just never looked at what it was actually called. it was £600 so nothing like the higher end les pauls you're probably thinking of. still felt like my soul was ripped out of my body when i saw it with the headstock hanging off
Depends-how long are you willing to practice?
It takes about 500 hours of focused, dedicated practice to become competent, and 1,000 hours of practice to start getting good and fluid.
If you only pick up your guitar every so often, it'll take years and you'll never get anywhere.
If you play for hours day after day, you'll start getting your act together after just a couple of months, and sounding really good and fluid after 6 months.
Ah I have a studio so I guess i can feel with you brother. Still, the tele looks delicious, any reason you went with it over an LP clone like agile or vintage?
Not sure if you missed my earlier posts or not, my primary acoustic is a Larrivee D-03R. I have tried a couple of their L series and one O series as well, I love all of them, it's hard to go wrong with Larrivee. I find each series sounds relatively similar to the next in voicing, the most significant difference is obviously variations in low end due to body size. The smaller the guitar the less low end you're going to get, but I don't think you would be unsatisfied with any of them, they sound great and balanced regardless. L series and O series are certainly more comfortable to play.
90% of the sound in this track is my D-03R.
Yeah I really like them, comparable to a high end Martin. I was going to buy one until a found a good deal on an all solid wood custom Martin.
If you're patient you can find used ones for a steal.
Also note that wood variations in Larrivee's make a pretty significant difference in tone. Make sure you compare each one that is available to you, especially the difference between walnut back/sides to rosewood back/sides. I played an OM-3 with swamp ash back/sides last year, it was fantastic, felt great, sounded great, and looked very unique.
neat. You don't waste any time.
That orange pickguard is nasty though....
Would look much better with an anodized gold guard imo
nope, just finished the primer, going to wait till tomorrow 11 CET to paint first blue color. might post the paintjob once I've completed it and it doesn't look bad.. ordered a loaded pickguard with lace sensors, should arive friday/tuesday, I painted the old pickguard orange just to test and it seems take the paint just fine. Kinda want to install a new bridge but don't have much money left. Already invested way too much into this project anyways.
>Not sure if you missed my earlier posts or not,
sorry. pretty long thread.
have you had the opertunity to compare mahogony and rosewood L series larrivees?
how do you think they would work out for pretty subtle fingerstyle guitar?
I've heard great things about the versatility and build quality of the L series
nice dreadnought btw.
I have compared mahogany L series to rosewood L series and I prefer rosewood for both tone and appearance, however they are significantly more expensive, at least they are where I shop. I ended up finding my dreadnought used on Craigslist for $1000, which is fantastic considering it's a Limited Edition build, 1 of 12 made with bubinga binding / inlays in Vancouver before Larrivee moved to California. If I were you I'd go for Craigslist once you decide on a model and just make sure you get a chance to try before you buy.
I find L series and OM series easier for fingerpicking than the dreadnought, they're much more forgiving in terms of positioning on your body. As for tone, I seriously doubt you'll be able to find a Larrivee of any shape or size that doesn't satisfy your ears in any picking style, besides the very occasional factory slip up they just don't make bad guitars, period.
Can't underestimate dat bubinga inlay tone.
Does anyone have tips for learning how to sing while playing? I'm currently trying with In the Aeroplane over the sea because it's only 4 chords but as soon as I start adding in the lyrics I fuck up everything.
Is there an easier/slower song you could recommend?
I've asked around for the exact same thing and the only response I ever got was that the song needs to become second nature. Practicing to the point where it necessitates zero concentration.
The most important thing is knowing how to play the song on guitar with your eyes closed and to learn every word to the song you are trying to sing
If I ever forget the words while I am singing, I start fucking up at guitar
Does anyone know if i can install a tunomatic bridge on a neck through that has no neck angle?
i ordered a neckthrough blank from carvin guitars for a project but not im un sure if my bridge choice will work
Thanks for the input. Do you think its necessary that i buy a different bridge? if it is, i probably will. I just dont want to install the bridge only to find out my strings dont lay right with the neck. Id rather not have to recess because my tools are fairly limited.
Looking to buy a first bass and am sitting in the $400 range, I might go higher but it would have to killer deal. Would really love to get a spectrr or warwick but:
Looking at a Squire VMJ just because it's cheap and I know I'll suck. Thing is everyone says no matter what you want play it first. I don't know anyone that plays bass and I don't have an ear for tone.
How the fuck am I supposed to know what tone sounds better when I can't play shit or I don't know what sounds I'll enjoy playing? I can't trust the cunt at the store the $50 more always has better tone or some other shit according to that cunt.
being a fatass I prefer cutaway smaller size acoustics but every larrivee has sounded absolutely fantastic regardless of wood combo
they just call it giving the neck relief, btw in case you try this...don't to it the other way.
there's nothing wrong with a VMJ but I would suggest starting on a 5 string. If you like a lot of music you might be surprised how many songs require that lower string
>there's nothing wrong with a VMJ but I would suggest starting on a 5 string. If you like a lot of music you might be surprised how many songs require that lower string
And it also spares you the alternate tuning bullshit for the most part
By $400 I assume bass and amp?
I'd get a Squier VM in PJ configuration (single coil and split coil) and a small combo. Both used. There's plenty of good cheap basses but plenty of bad ones too, so if you have nobody to shop for you, best to go with something safe and ubiquitous.
Good amp brands to look for; Ampeg, Eden, Peavey, Gallien-Krueger (if you're lucky) and of course Fender.
Do make sure if you buy a used bass that the neck isn't fucked and that there's no obvious damage. Any other default or quirk can probably be fixed.
Then don't listen to the cunt. Make your own opinion. Try every one of them on a decent but not overpriced amp with flat eq and mid gain. Then you'll see for yourself. Even if you don't know how to play, just hit a note, see if it sound good to you or not. It's not all about the sound too, you gotta be confortable on the fretboard.
I had a trbx 305 but the knob was jacked up on it so I took it back, I got to mess with it a little bit and I thought the neck seemed too fat. Is there a 5 string with a thinner neck?
I got a buddy out of state that said he'd ship me his old ampeg. So $400 is the range for the bass.
they're hideous and overpriced
90% of the boutique guitars I see going for JET prices don't have as many innovations or features as the JET Earlewood, and are also completely hideous.
nigga do you work for JET? You're certifiably insane if you think they're more innovative than Teuffel.....
peavey's basses are thin necked and the Ibanez SR series is pretty thin too.
what type of ampeg amp is it?
that's fucking hideous and ten grand. HIs "tonebars" do literally nothing by the way
Ummm uhhhhhh... I like rock, funk, reggae, some punk.
I don't know, he doesn't have a cell phone or I'd text him. His dad played bass for years, got a new one and gave him the old one. His dad always bought high end stuff though so I'm sure it's good.
some luxury Gibson-like piece of furniture, at least these guys work with metals and do it in unconventional ways.
>These Features Are Found ONLY On JET Guitars::
1. The top wood is joined to a chambered body with a peaked shape. This gives JET guitars their characteristic rich, complex resonance. They weigh less than thick carved tops, too.
2. The 24th fret is a brass plate attached to the end of the fingerboard. This way you get 24 frets, without knocking the neck pickup out of its sweet spot. Why should you be forced to choose one or the other?
3. Direct mounted pickups are trimmed with exotic hardwood. No ugly holes showing, and better microphinic coupling.
4. Output jackplate is recessed into an angled bevel, and points upward. duh...
Wew mate, such innovations...
music man basses have thin necks. Also just to be a voice of dissent I would start on a 4 string. The 5th string is harder to play and generally very loose. I wouldn't call it a magnitude of difficulty over a 4 string but others downplay it more than they should.
guitarists are generally conservative but less so now, especially since using amp sims and more advanced guitars has taken off. Strandberg and Kiesel are getting big as well.
They're really good at it. as much as I love PRS SEs and CEs Paul himself is a complete bullshitter
>at least SOME of this is metal!
there is nothing but wood or metal on JETs save for the pickup bobbins, considering the birdfish is still made of wood for the neck it doesn't fucking matter what ugly spaceship metal they have going on
you googling things just to argue and not owning either of these instruments is pretty dumb btw
he might have an ampeg that is tailored toward a more mellow classic sound but aside from that you're still getting a really great piece of gear
i recommend 5 strings mainly because I started on 4 and when I hit my teens I started listening to a music that uses that B string and hated playing 4s because of it. 4s are much more comfortable though definitely
The B2s were never good ;_;
You're moving the goalposts and you know it. I already said that chick was fuckable. And since I'm a surf fan who also enjoys Russian music, I'll make a good effort to track her band down for a listen.
inb4 DON'T BUY MORE THAN ONE TELECASTER OR STRATOCASTER
It's black tho. Gonna be hard to flip, imo. The whole point is it's ultra kawaii so players can be ironic. No irony with black. (Not a suggestion but I have heard that the black ones are painted over pinks.)
They're almost all great instruments, others you just don't wanna get rid of because of sentimental value.
I guess my Teles meet those criteria
Seriously though I've never had one Strat play exactly like another
does anyone here prefer 70s pickup placement on a jazz bass?
I don't know of a single good one
scottsbasslesson might be good enough for you but personally I think he's fucking shit. most youtube teachers won't shut the fuck up and have a content-to-bullshit ratio of about 1 to 20 and he's one of the worst in that regard.
Ive heard a lot about music man. I don't really like the way they look. I was eyeballing 4 string since they have thinner necks and that makes it way easier to manage.
If I remember correctly I think to was a $500 amp so I'm pretty pumped for that.
Yeah I dunno how easy it will be to adjust to a 5 from a four though so why not just jump in with a 5?
as opposed to 60s/normal
ESP LTD (H-401FM) missing a high E string
>Post desired gear
A new set of strings
>How long have you been playing?
I guess about 8 or 9 years now, never super seriously.
I dunno man
Carson McWhirter mostly
I /want/ to compose a black metal album but I'm in an intense engineering program, so
no reason not to have both
huh? 1976 stringray player here, neck is pretty fat and hardly narrow. owned 1996 and 1998 too that were the same.
Well that is a big reason to go 4 for me. But it's only $50 more for a 5 string vs buying a whole other bass to upgrade to a 5.
Fuck this is a hard choice. But thanks everyone for the input.
A buddy of mine broke his neck, fixed it and then sold it to me without letting me know. It took me a year to decide that the join wasn't right. My bad. He never confirmed or denied... "Friends."
White pearloid scratch plates for the both of your, afaic.
Count the rests and note values and tap your foot to keep time. Do the rhythm first then lyrics.
In 3/4 time, play chords G G G / G G G / E E E...
Count, "1 & 2 & 3 & / 1 & 2 & 3 & / 1 & 2 & 3 &" Strum the &s on an up stroke.
Now sing, "1 & 2 what a (&) / beau (& 2) ti ful (&) / face (& 2) I have (&)"
Just go slow and build your coordination. The actual guitar part may differ but you can fix it later.
Nice inlays. I have been considering an Aerodyne but I can see the extra binding detail you have there, as well.
Because he probably believes he's in competition with bigger brands in the same price range like Schecter/LTD/etc. Although considering they give better specs for the price I'm not sure why he'd do that.
Main problem is all those brands have a USA or Japanese custom/high-end shop. Chappy doesn't have that so there's really not much else to his brand name.
Also this I guess
No idea who the guy is but iirc isn't true temperament only good for one tuning? If you plan to stick with it I guess.
I'm not hugely knowledgeable on TT frets but it'll be a quality 8 string.
So what happens if you want to bend a note? What happens if you want to change string gauges? Tunings? I guess you just can't. Ill stick with my slightly flat intonation and just bend it into tune as I go up the neck.
the chapmans are mad ein the same factory as the PRS SE models and various other brands, I know because if you check the back of a PRS headstock it tells you, that and if you watch a factory tour ou see them drying etc.
I think chappers needs a custom shop, I'm not going to lie I'd love to build guitars for chapman.
bs, you won't bend it into tune and you know it. I think a better solution to perfect intonation is fretless. It'd be cool to see a fretless with the perfect intonated lines drawn on it like fret markers. That would make you crazy while playing it though.

I know that, Schecters and 400+ series LTD's are also made there.
I changed my guitar pickups the other day and now i have this fear i put them on backwards. Is there any way to know?
Just started playing my guitar and bass this week. I'm 24 years old, haven't played in years, but played throughout high school and a little after. Played in a few bands with gigs n stuff. Now my amps are all crackily sounding. Thinking the inputs jacks are bad on the amp, or guitars.
Are you taking about rondo music??? When did this become a meme? Their prices are too low for me to even gamble on, probably an offshore Brazilian factory waiting to steal your credit card number so their children can eat mashed bananas and gravy tonight.
shut the fuck up
rondo guitars are hand crafted in the far east. there is a certain quality that chinese/korean craftsmanship brings out that american builders just cannot replicate due to their fat sausage fingers.
if you want quality, sell those pickups and buy a rondo, you wont regret it

He's 10 times more precise and accurate than Yngwie though, his technique's plain beautiful, and look at those small lightning-fast sausage fingers, damn.. Plus his compositions are much more interesting.
I've played a few guitars from Rondo. Two were Douglass 6 string electric guitars. Overall, very similar to the Ibanez RG series. Very good value. The other, an SX 4 string bass. The bridge was sheet metal. Complete crap pickups. Crappy everything. It's kinda hard to fuck up a bass guitar...
ffs get a taste, fag
this isn't funny. Stop beating a dead joke.
>shit tier V shape
does it bother you that you're wrong about which Vs are gud?
Rhoads model is the best both for playing standing and sit.
It's not like it's a BC Rich or something
So as I learn guitar, I come across stuff that needs a bit explaining, for example, how come I can move certain chords for one or two frets and they still make a legit sound? It's called sliding I know that, but why does it work? You've literally changed every note in a chord and it still works. (wanting to play blues, sliding was introduced to me there)
>yes, gonna build a Woolly mammoth soon
good times. there are what like eight transistors? screw using exactly what they tell you to use. get a few different ones and experiment with taht shit until you find your favorite tone. obviously youd have to socket the transistors.
how do you like the mastotron? i have the zvex distortion and i love it hard. it works great as a clean boost imo.
More companies need to make non-pointy Vs.
>how do you like the mastotron?
Probably my second favorite fuzz after the Hyperion out of all maybe 60 I've tried. I was gonna go for a Distortion or a Fuzzollo but I tried it out and fell in love. I coulda built it for cheaper but ZVex DOES have a lifetime warranty on his pedals no matter what, plus I'm just a fan of it over all.

I was thinking about trying out different things with it and yeah I'm gonna be real excited to experiment. I'm probably going to order enough parts for 3 or 4 of them and do different things in each. one or two I'm going to make for my bassist, as he wanted a mastotron himself - but he also wanted a mammoth before that.

No as in that shape is fucking awful on top of V's being an already mediocre shape as it is. It's all personal opinion anyways tho.
Nice quality kek. Besides, what's with that nazi cross?
the original? my next order of components and shit is definitely going to be including what i will need to assemble the one with the modulation knob.
ive hard a hard time getting into the zvex fuzzes... but then again it probably has a fuckton to do with the fact that virtually every youtube demo ever fucking sucks
any other efx youve DIYed?
its the same kind of chord except its a different letter. does that make any sense?
"legit sounds" is not a thing
stop worrying about doign things "right"
if it sounsd good to you then what the fucks the problem?
oh and guess what else? which chord youre fingering at a given moment is not just one chord and one chord alone. all the "chord" shit is arbitrary. like the open strings in standard tuning. you can have fun all day coming up with all the different chords you could uset o describe that shit.
learn the major scale. learn what intervals are. if theres still time to return the chord dictionary to the store you should do it because its literally useless.
dont fucking fall into the trap of "theres only ONE CORRECT WAY to do whatever"
that goes for all of you faggots
