Your lyrics leave something to be desired imo, but otherwise it sounds pretty cool, reminds me a bit of Elliott Smith
>piano for 1700's samurai smoking pipes
check out dat deep dubstep track mu i kno u want to
>tfw will never make Spiderland
Feels bad man
This is really fresh sounding, I would put even more delay and reverb on that amazing lead synth but I'm insane.
I've been into your stuff for a long while. Your tones and fluidity as a player have only improved. Keep on your path friend, you're an artist.
You really need more reverb on the lead vocals, but I love the vibes here, it reminds me a lot of meat puppets. Also sometimes you keep the lead guitar centered where I would have put it to the right to balance the left.
Very atmospheric and low-key, but I wish there were more attention grabbing melodies in your work.
Haha these sound like old school dr dre beats good work, good show.
This is much better than I thought it would be.
I can't put my finger on it but I like this a lot more than most /mu/ rap. It must be the vibes
>Alright this is me
>Psychedelic free feeling rock
>I actually don't remember recording the instrumental
loving this chilled vibe, relaxed rapping and the productions pretty good, reccing
This is pretty cool, it's got that jumpyness yet it feels warm and drifty. Rec.
Sounds good! (sorry man, mother put me off country for good, too much credence)
This is sick, very well timed and articulated. Overall it has that lazy but lost feel to it. Nice.
'Tribe Jam' - This is pretty trippy. Gives me that "who are you"(song by the who) vibe with that clap or percussion and the delay.
Forever recced, Abelian is probably one of the better artists I've found on /mu/
Released a 4 track EP. May god help us all.
>instrumental hip hop
>space hop and electronica
thanks for checking it out
By having the worst mix of equipment ever.
But it doesn't end there, you have to tinker it till you get that crispy crackle before it becomes full blown wall of fuzz.
I like what you're doing with the warm synth there. Very BOC. But you've got this tingly sounding synth on top. It's the right idea, only wished there was more. Percussion is sharp and clear, love it.
Singer/Songwriter, Feedback very appreciated. I make weird glitchy beats and folk music, Grand.

Nice, clean acoustic covers! nice vox on your latest track also :)
Some old-school 80's funk inspired dance vyybes! Hit us up with your thoughts, it's my first release for my new alias! :D
It is pretty good. Think the guitar couldve been bigger. maybe if it was layer with something that was playing higher.
or put a stereo enhancer on it. The guitar feels really mono. A little too mono.
Cool track tho and u probably didnt do the production anyway. Just a heads up.
Why are u sausaging every track u make. I would suggest to try and limit waay less. Ur ruining the dynamics.
Ur beats and arrangement is always nice. But u use waay to much reverb in my opinion.
I think the bass is too loud in the mix. The lead kind of sound is hard too hear.(especially in the beginning.
Maybe a little overcompressed aswell.
Overall good work. Especially arrangement wise the track makes sense.
Mix feels pretty empty. Maybe u need a subbase going on in ur track. Also the piano gets annoying after a while.
It is not overcompressed/limited \, which is kind of refreshing. good job on that.
Well, this is pretty weird. Not sure if I liked it.
U should work on mixing. Especially the drums get completely buried. I like the processing on the vocals tho. It fits pretty good.
Good production man. U could probably process those vocals a little more. Feels a little out of key aswell. The instrumentals
This is pretty damn good dude

Here's my new Alternative R&B track called "Worth It". It has some Toronto vibes, over "trappier" production than what I've previously done. I appreciate you guys taking the time to listen!

Put out an EP last night. Looking for some harsh critique here.
>French House/Disco House
I rap and make beats. All types of shit. If you've heard of Copywrite, I'm in a group w/ him. My name is Meta4ce....or was.
>post african repititions
I'm deeply interested in music of this kind. I have my own psych rock/post-punk band going and I appreciate the riffs quite a lot.
'Hash Dealing Slasher' sounds good, although missing some boosting on the highs. The drums are a bit too "unglued" from the rest of the mix. Maybe slap on a glue compressor.
'Let Go' is panned harshly to the right. I don't understand why.
Overall, I enjoy your vibe. Followed.
'Marble Floors' is instrumentally interesting. It gives off a Dean Blunt vibe to some degree.
'Thoth' definitely is the more "out there" track. I appreciate the weirdness of your instrumentation.
The songs are interesting but I'd say to add vocals. Without vocals, they seem to have to "destination". I don't know where the track is progressing.
I enjoy your stuff and I hope you keep making music.
Not my kind of music so it's hard to critique. As far as the quality of the sound, I'd say it's rather good. The mids seem to get cluttered on occasion but nothing too bad. The track remind me of that Igloo Ghost guy that came out with an EP last year.
I appreciate the production quality a lot. You know how to put a track together that sounds tight. Again, just the mids seem to get cluttered when all the synths really come in together.
All feedback is returned!
Indie rock. No midi used.
>other random stuff
> dank beats
> hip hop progressive
>Soundtracks to films that don't exist
Short tracks, best listened to in the dark. Feedback is highly appreciated.
White Guy Lo Fi
The voice seems too unrelaxed, not aired out enough. When I think of dream rap, I think A$AP Rocky's debut mixtape and his voice stays creamy and doped out.
This seems the case with the rest of the tracks. It could also help to mix in the vocals better. They seem out of place, mix-wise. I definitely, definitely, definitely enjoyed the parts where you rapped much slower.
I enjoyed your stuff. Just work on your delivery a bit more. You have talent.
I dig it. Followed, for sure. I get some flavors of Schlomo's Later on 'd e c e m b e r'.
I'd love to hear more. Great work.
Not too into Power Metal other than some of the classics, quite honestly, so I won't comment on that.
The production sounds fine, albeit a bit clean for my taste. The voice seems oddly mixed in, almost too dryly mixed in for Power Metal. Consider splashing a bit more chorus and bringing it further to the front.
Otherwise, it sounds quite fantastic, sound quality wise. One other comment of mine would be to bring the vocals in earlier in the track.
"Brevity is the soul of wit."
That bass at the beginning is nice. It sounds nice and round. You are obviously talented at what you do. The production is fantastic.
My only critique would be on the grounds of lack of variety as you reach the end of the track. You want to really break out a little, melodically. The drums are the only instrument indicating change and progression and there really should be more to it.
Your voice and synths should also participate in it occasionally. Otherwise, an excellent track. Followed. You have quite the voice.
I am quite fine with the eccentricity of your music and your production is quite charming. Your voice just sticks out like shitty Youtube blog audio. It really detracts from the charm of the weirdness.
At least try to mix it in slightly.
I really liked your instrumentation. I just can't get past the abysmally-recorded vocals.
Your production is certainly eclectic. A rather wide range of electronic music styles.
At times the drums seem improperly mixed and not fitting with the organic, warm textures of the rest of your instruments. Otherwise, I enjoy your tracks. Consider adding vocals to give them more direction.
I'm new to this and continuing to improve, so any feedback will be honored by the grace of His Truly, Lord Zoltan.
Check 'em out!
>slow and organic electronics

Made a quick demo with my band. I recorded and mixed it myself. Vocals are shit cos I have a shit mic and can't record to save my life!
Feedback is much appreciated though!
Also I've had some unused chords from my previous projects. Decided to rework it into ambient, so here's my first try:
Never really listened to this kind of music - maybe few tracks. So your feedback is really important for me. Is the track relaxing? What should I fix if there's anything I did really bad?
>no weak shit
Just reworked an old beat of mine. Inspired by the production on Pinata, lots of work in this.
I never even browse /mu/, but i lurk other boards.
This dude "Just Juice" is a rapper from Boston, MA. I don't really know him his latest release he absolutely fucking murders it.

who /fa/ here?
I'm going to be starting a clothing blog for fun soon. I'll mostly be reviewing higher end stuff, with a focus on nice photos/videos. See webm related.
I'm wondering if anyone wants to contribute background music for the videos. I'm looking for some simple beats or more ambient electronic stuff. Vids will only be like a minute long, so even if you have some throwaway stuff that just loops that would work.
I will definitely credit you and link to your SoundCloud or website (if you have one). I can't pay because this is just a passion project that won't be making me any money. So this would basically be for people looking for a little more exposure or /fa/-minded people who would be interested in collabing/contributing.
If interested hit me up: rafowensricksimons at gmail

Some of my lost ideas of the sea. Hope you like it!
Spent ages on a game trailer song that's not going to be used, because the game is cute and my music sounds like a nuclear holocaust in Skyrim.
Will be leaving any feedback on SC, its just easier that way.
>Drum & Bass
Listening and providing useful feedback. I check out nearly everybody in these threads.
Girl talk style mash ups but with music that might actually be in your library
thanks so much for the offer (for real), but I'm not sure it would really work. I should have been more clear, but I want something with a beat to match cuts in the video. most of your stuff is so stripped down (or pure ambient??) that there's not really a beat. thanks though.
hey man, I think your stuff would be perfect. as far as the videos they will mainly be longer versions of the webm I posted... not really as interesting as fashion shows and the like. but yeah I will hit you up through SoundCloud in the next couple days.
>aiming for pianogaze
Interesting, easy to listen to which is good. A lot of rappers around here I turn off after like thirty seconds but I realized I'd listened to your whole song before even realizing I'd listened to your whole song.
new song my /mu/ brothers, hope some of you guys give it a listen and enjoy. party on.
