Music player thread? Music player thread!
post whatever program you use to organize and listen to your music
rate/rec/criticize/etc.
I need to fuck around with the theme on mine
Would rec you group by Album Artist
>>62000627
I really like that theme its super clean and looks really nice. Holy crap that's a lot of albums have you actually listened to all of them or are some still in your backlog?
>>62000677
I've grouped by artist before but I never ended up liking it, and yeah I feel you on the theme part. to be honest musicbee needs more themes that don't look like winamp clones.
>>62000761
lmao i'm on my backlog and defintely will be till the day I day, this is all the unorganized stuff that hasn't made it to my library yet
>>62000761
I really really like how this looks.
>>62000761
you should definitely check out Leland Kirby's (The Caretaker) other works and your player looks pretty good, what font are you using?
>>62000896
Shit that looks p neat mostly because I thought it was foobar at first, if it were me I'd get rid of the date added column but that's just me and I'm sure you have a use for it
>>62000973
Yeah I tend to have to refer back to it a lot so I keep it visible. I might move it to a different spot now that you mention it.
>>62000973
The font is called HaxrCorp S12. What other albums do you recommend i check out by the caretaker?
The info on the bottom right is meant to have lyric but doesn't always work, sadly.
foobar
Spotify

Sadly, The Future Is No Longer What It Was is the first release that comes to mind, although it's a pretty long release, Selected Memories From the Haunted Ballroom is definitely worth checking out. And currently I'm using Century Gothic but I might change it if I move some things around.
>>62001013
I feel you, also what skin are you using? I can't seem to find it and it looks pretty neat although maybe a tad too bright for me.
>>62001112
>>62001076
I never liked foobar when it looked that default manner, I always felt it looked better when a theme was added or when it was stripped back to look more minimal
>>62001196
It's called CohearantLight, one of the first new skins for the 3.0 beta. There's a dark variant.
>>62001480
I didn't even know the 3.0 beta was availabe. how is it? I might just jump on it...
>>62001196
I've tried to use themes but never liked them enough to keep. So I like my weird looking player. Also I don't like the left sidebar on Music Bee and Media Monkey.
>>62001566
Not horribly different from 2.5, the biggest change that jumps out to me is that a lot of the layout customization is centralized to a newer simpler page. There's also a new Music Explorer tab that'll show you some info about the artist you're currently listening to, which I think is pretty cool.
>>62001601
>Also I don't like the left sidebar on Music Bee and Media Monkey
you can hide it, unless you're just saying that you don't like the layout of it. also if it works, it works, as long as you can comfortably find your way through it then keep on using it.
>>62001659
definitely gonna have to download it then
>>62002451
that's quite a lot of columns on your column browser, do you use all of them that frequently?
I also reworked my musicbee after the 3.0 beta. What do y'all think? should I leave my player controls at the bottom or where it's at?
>>62002675
All of them except the last one, but I still use it to look at when I add new albums
>>62002738
ahh, to be honest I never use the comment tag but I guess it can be quite helpful. also your right sidebar is pretty tightly squeezed in there, you might want to move some things around to at least try to make it look a little better.
>>62002764
luv the grey
>>62002764
nice, simple. i like it
