Psychedelic pop is a pretty broad genre that includes a lot of stuff. I think that MPP does have a unique sound to it, but that general category is still fitting.

Dream pop is a more specific genre that really only includes music with a very ethereal sound. MPP is a bit too grounded to be classified under it, at least in my own opinion.
