ITT: last 5 things you rated on RYM - "I should have listened to J Spaceman earlier" edition
it's pretty hilarious how RYM's rules cucked In Rainbows out of an album cover for overall view
U.S. Girls are alright. Radiohead are alright. But Spiritualized...not really my thing
I honestly agree with your rating of In Rainbows. It's a nice album, but really nothing special, and for 10 tracks it has a surprisingly big amount of filler. Jigsaw Falling into Place is GOAT though
Hit me up with something dank from the current year. downloading Togawa Kaidan at the moment, hope it's good cause it's one of the few January releases that actually seemed interesting to me so far.
Spacemen and spiritualized are great
What didn't you like about new Steven _Wilson EP?
I thought it was ok
What did you think of Hand Cannot Erase?
those Oldfield ratings trigger me
Still not sure if I should give new Suede 3.5 or 4
I was planning to listen to Satori
This is what your curve should look like, at least.
Young thug is an exceptional artist.
It felt lazy to me desu. I mean My Book of Regrets has the main riff from PT's Time Flies, which was p much taken from Floyd's Dogs in the first place. The interlude tracks are alrightish, nothing that warrants being released or taking up about 10min on a sub-40min EP. the riff on Vermillioncore is pretty standard but I do like how it progresses, and I was HEAVILY disappointed with the rework of Don't Hate Me. it's totally sterile now :/
this is correct
most RYM users force a Gaussian curve, I assume because they're shit at finding music
>being this wrong
The majority of your ratings should be low because the vast majority of music is shit.
Haha, most people listen exclusively to stuff which is bad. How wrong r u?
those were one of my main gripes with it desu. I understand that Steven would rather have something else sing the higher part he was straining to reach on Stupid Dream, but that intonation was what drove the song emotionally, considering how pathetic that line is. The girl on the new version sounds completely emotionless.
>The majority of your ratings should be low because the vast majority of music is shit.
>the vast majority of music is shit and most people listen exclusively to stuff which is bad
You're right, drone metal, balkan folk and 1st wave post-rock are the only good music
Do you know who that is
at this point music is no longer enjoyable to you. it is a chore to get a desired numbers and scale to look better to nobodies on the internet and to make yourself feel better but you're actually hurting yourself and making music a task to be completed and then forgotten.
hi its me hampus Im new from Reddit how are you
