FL Studio and an Akai LPK 25. Sometimes I just use my laptop keyboard as midi. I think it's a myth you need tonnes of hardware to make solid tracks, analogue gear definitely has its pros though, but I think it comes down to preference and experience, but there's nothing wrong with exclusively using software here and there

Anyone got a recommended tutorial for Ableton? There's so much that it's overwhelming
>>
>>61979850
isn't flstudio for fags?
>>
FL studio if ur a noob like me, ive been using it and it is pretty great and its easy to handle
>>
>>61979121
just get fl studio or reaper. fuck around for hours and watch every Tutorial on youtube. it's not hard. its just putting in alot of effort of you making shit.Don't waste money on equipment unless you find something cheap off craigslist or on sale
>>
>>61979215
i make sample-only beats so i use adobe audition. cut and paste work really
>>
