>trap inspired shoegaze
>music to fall asleep to

this I recommend
(OLD soundcloud, this one reached upload limit: https://soundcloud.com/somelittleboyinblue)
>lo-fi, acoustic "bedroom pop," influences include red house painters' first three albums (mostly down colorful hill tho) elliott smith, daniel johnston, beach house, ween's first few albums, mac demarco, and early sebadoh

>dystopian nightclub banger
Here's my new Alternative R&B track called "Worth It". It has some Toronto vibes, over "trappier" production than what I've previously done. I appreciate you guys taking the time to listen!
This has gotten a pretty good response, hopefully some of you like it too.
I return all feedback!

Newest track, I just posted it and I'd love some feedback on it
>Dub influenced IDM
somerton man was really nice, keep going, the drowned out sound and the quiet vocals make that track really unique
Really enjoyed the production, nice guitar skills, the end was very impressive
nice screams, that track is all over the place in a really good way, keep it up
Tons of different stuff
>Cheesy Sing'n'songwriter stuff
>Plain Pop rock

ARE YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS PLANNING THIS SHIT?
>first post EVERY SINGLE TIME
>/mu/ isn't supposed to be a place where you promote, that's like asking for people to shit all over you

>smooth n' jazzy shit

That's some rugged freshness!
I just got back into after a year of making nothing at all. I was making pretty heavy dnb before this depressing shit that I'm making now.
>probably some more dnb in the future
i return feedback! i made this earlier today in cubase.
Indie rock pop! Looking for feedback and all feedback is returned!
Progressive Rock sounds from Scotland.
Because if we made music in genres that are easy to analyze, everyone would be able to notice how bad we really are, by making music in obscure genres we can bullshit our way out by saying it was like that on purpose. At least that's my reasoning.
I know what you mean but I wouldn't call it "obscure" and "edgy". I'm guessing vaporwawe, Future beats, trap, electronic beats and hiphop oriented electronica is what the kids are into these days. But yeah, these threads really lack of people who actually play analog instruments and sing.
>ambient, lowercase, drone
Drum & Bass is a shadow of what it used to be. Keep doing what you're doing. I really like it. Trash 2016 was incredible.
Why the change though? I made the switch too a long time ago.
Thank you! I was going through such a bad break up when I made that lol. I just don't really vibe with dnb anymore, I love Billain, Noisia and Receptor and stuff, but I'm still stuck on the old Matrix & Futurebound and Hold Your Colour days. Everything else kind of just sounds the same now, no real melodies or soul I guess. You can just do more with a slower tempo.
>noise, glitch, experimental, synth tracks, ambient, etc.
> electronic rap beats
I made some ambient/drone today.
new track - we are innocent
>noise choral ambient
> Tech house
damn, i'm really late

Some wild stuff.
>trap, drill, depressing, hazy, autotune
these threads are gay lol
shit I've stolen from films
returning all feedback and all that shit x
>super mario world samples
Genre: Underground rap
>hip hop beats
I liked the sound but sometimes it felt like you just put in psykadelic melodies for the sake of having psykadelic melodies. Not because it fit to the overall song. Usually bands that do that have a sort of grace to it like tame impala has. Still liked it tho. People should definately check it out
Any feedback would be great and much appreciated
>weird variety pop
i try to make each song its own thing without losing cohesiveness
checked out hash dealing slasher and i enjoyed that very much. the "grace" that i talk about was definately there in that song! Would love to do a collab with you where i record vocals to your instrumentals
>acid house, techno, minimal house, IDM, electro
>first one in a while
>another dj mix
>minimal techno, tribal techno, damn near everything and then some
>and sometimes Drone
>hip hop instrumentals
>music to shower to
Just uploaded a new song
If you hear , the bassline is quite muddy and i have Eqd/compressed quite a bit.. Ive even added bitcrusher and slight distortion to the bass to add upper harmonics, any way to add more prescence to the bass without getting rid of the other main synths?
Slime Season 3

The long awaited EP from YUNG TURNIP
My recording and mastering techniques are constantly improving as is our band as we begin to shift to more experimental sounds not heard on this EP. Hope you guys enjoy it. All constructive criticism or all criticism for that matter, will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
>experimental, maximalist music, noise, sound design
why do i always run into the threads when they're fuckin full?
