I have a few harsh noise wall albums. That's about as deep as I go.

I usually have a 2 layer genre tree, sometimes 3.
Example, Rock\Prog Rock
Or Metal\Thrash\Crossover Thrash
And as far as variety or scale, it's as big as I can get the tree.

Typically I just pin an album down to just one genre tag, the one that describes the album the best

i don't care about genre tags, and since i get everything from torrent sites/archive/soulseek some of the tags are fucked (pic related)

I either have full albums that I'll just look for in my main library.
Or playlists consisted of every kind of music out there.
The only playlists that are bound by genre's are pre-made ones I've downloaded.
