Crayon pop-haters are so amusing
They get so "triggered" when you even mention or post a single picture of Crayon Pop.
It's amusing seeing them have autistic spasms just because someone posted his album collection.
Nah, Woollim CEO is mean but in a different way. He promised to let Infinite leave their terrible dorm when they hit the top 3 then said number 1. He wanted to kick out Woohyun and Dongwoo, before and after debut. He even threatened to kick Sunggyu. He said he wanted Sungyeol to do a smart concept but then said "I was tricked" because Sungyeol is dumb as rocks. He took away Lovelyz's phones. He won't let them get it back until they win a show until they win a show, (which will take forever). He also sold Infinite to SM instead of competing with them.
>Oppa, so THAT is what you meant with "Red Velvet's biggest fan"...
>He wanted to kick out Woohyun and Dongwoo, before and after debut.
>He said he wanted Sungyeol to do a smart concept but then said "I was tricked" because Sungyeol is dumb as rocks
though gotta admit that was pretty funny
Never knew Woollim was so bad though. I was always aware of the horrors of TS and Stardom
these gooks look too old
ALL HAIL SATAN
YES HAIL SATAN
Now they laugh it off. They say they love him, thank, and grateful to him, ect. Dongwoo was probably going to be kicked for being "ugly" but has a unique appeal to be likable. He probably didn't want another "uggo" like Sunggyu. They both ended up being the most popular members because of their personalities. Also Woohyun is a great singer so they can't lose him. Maybe because Woohyun and Sunggyu didn't like each other during their trainee and predebut days. Sungyeol being dumb is funny though.
The specifics on TS aren't that well known. BAP sued them over their contract.
Stardom is a little easier to chronicle. Evol was under stardom, Block B was under Stardom before their lawsuit (they weren't paid a lot of what they were owed and the CEO of Stardom even committed suicide). More recently, Topp Dogg being very poorly managed, poorly promoted (sending the boys abroad with practically no fanbase, killing their chances of building a korean fanbase) and it's too early to tell whether Hunus is doing any better with them.
I know people often joke around about how awful SM is, but based on all the shit Shinhwa they were actually much worse.
Either way, that's what we know. Imagine the companies that sell their girls or even managers/CEOs/investors that use the girls that we don't hear as much about.
that one girl on produce 101 was supposed to be debut with SNSD
i'm gonna vote for her for not killing herself desu, good spirit
there's something about the industry I don't get
People say that most idols are from well off families but most of them end up in companies that treat them poorly and don't pay well. I don't get why they would get involved in this industry if both things were true especially if there's stuff like prostitution/rape as well.
That's gotta be brutal, and still stuck in trainee hell after all these years
I always imagine it's the shame of going back to your family after your folks put in all the money and going through all that effort to debut. And especially having no prospects besides that. The promise of fame and success after going through all that effort must appear more sweet than going back to a mediocre life where they probably weren't good at anything else/didn't like doing anything else.
I've seen some nugus pursue education after debut once they realize their group is going nowhere, or they network aggressively in case something happens.
damn that actually makes me sad
>Everyone who's in the know should know Chanmi's history. She joined SM in 2000 -> was in the final 12 line-up for SNSD -> SNSD's final debut line-up changed from 12 to 9 -> Chanmi was eliminated -> stayed in SM for f(x)'s debut -> eliminated from f(x)'s line-up -> left SM -> joined CCM, debuted with Co-Ed -> as soon as the group debuted, a male member got into drinking and rape scandal that led to their disbandment -> debuted as 5dolls -> 5dolls failed to gain any popularity and Chanmi was kicked.
one of them went on and had a decent career
chorong so mad she's punching herself in the face
Didn't even know about Speed rapist... There are some idols who I see that are younger (18-21) trying to debut and he or she has seen others debut and get sad. I can't even begin to imagine her frustration. I'll start voting for her now. I see why people would be mad that she has all this previous training and has debut but she's been down on her luck for years.
IKON and Twice won. OMG, CLC, and Up10tion lost. Gfriend at least had falling mediaplay. OMG's mediaplay was a quick laugh and nothing more. Up10tion was supposed to be Teen Top #2 but didn't get as far as they thought they would.
she ain't got time for those petty red carpet events
Lovelyz also technically debuted in 2014.
Either way there was no "war". Everyone knew Twice would have the most successful debut before they even debuted. Shame since JYP's newer groups have been nothing but a disappointment
I saw it was a false accusation. They keep updating their Twitter and Instagrams that they are working but I'm scaree this is their last time.
>no oppa you massive faggot, if we went with your strategy we'd lose 5% revenue in the next quarter
>sit your faggot ass back down and shut the fuck up oppa
Teen Top built fame slowly. 100% dropped the ball with having such an old member debut with a bunch of younger members, but I think TOP Media learned from that mistake. I don't doubt that if Up10tion is promoted the same way Teen Top was, they'll gain a dedicated fanbase steadily. I still don't think they'll be as popular as Teen Top is, though.
Day6 is good and better than Twice but no one cares because they have no mediaplay and they aren't girls. GOT7 debuet was terrible too and here we are. I give Twice a year to get it together too.
The comeback was alright, but they really lost a lot of steam. They didn't have much to begin with.
I'm worried for them, but I've pretty much accepted that the outlook isn't good. Being a fan of nugus is suffering.
Thank god I never became a C-Clown fan lmao
Besides CNBlue, bands really don't seem to do that well there and I really doubt JYP knows what to do with a band.
>GOT7 debuet was terrible too and here we are
their music is still pretty bad. At least the members are charming, but it just discourages me from even wanting to listen to Twice.
Lost the webm, gif as a consolation. Will make one if someone knows the original source.
True enough. Just being a JYP boy group and not having any air time they've managed to almost sell 10k but if they were girls, you know what *whispers JYP* would do...
Mad was actually alright. They aren't 2PM, though basically "What if Jay didn't leave?/2PM 2.0" but worse music. They obviously have good singers and dancers but their minis and albums are bad, at least till Mad.
No, the group 100%. Also under Andy's company. Their oldest member was born in 1985 while their second oldest was born in 1991. The problem there was only after a few promotions the oldest had to go off and do military service. They debuted only in 2011 iirc.
Another member has also not necessarily left the group, but it seems like he wants to. He wasn't in their most recent promotion but the planning surrounding that group was just so poor.
>not watching every episode of Dal Shabet On Air
