v new to making my own music. learnin 2 work ableton is kind of tough. any feedback is super appreciated!
Rap artist need feedback!
>Piani, sad shit.
>music to fall asleep to
this is saccharine, pretty solid throughout, though that synth around 1:07 onwards feels a little to dry and upfront to me
Can someone please do me a favour and listen to this one track, nice and loud (comfortably), the entire way through? Close your eyes and chill. Let me know what you think?
It is post-rock, so if you don't dig the genre, probably not for you.
Hard at work on the album.
> post rock

Here's my new Alternative R&B track called "Worth It". It has some Toronto vibes, over "trappier" production than what I've previously done. I appreciate you guys taking the time to listen!
This has gotten a pretty good response, hopefully some of you like it too.
I return all feedback!

Just a compilation EP of the tracks I've dropped this month.
you have the makings of a sick drum and bass beat here bud
This is a new song I made, lofi effects are strong with this one.
Dubstep styled / influenced bass music. I'm not gonna call it straight up dubstep because it doesn't follow typical brostep guidelines at all.
>instrumental concept work about first manned mission to Mars
Ambient noise pop
Just been experimenting with random sounds on cubase since I'm terrible at learning how to use it.
Sounds kind of atmospheric though which I like.
Which program/programs do you guys use?

Hi I'm a rapper from Nashville.
Been working on a demo for my first legitimate hip-hop EP/album and this is where its progress is at the moment. 15 tracks, very rough, but the structure is basically finished. Will re-record and release it officially when it is completed.
>Rap, Bars, Concept

Feedback on SC
Any feedback on this particular track? Minimal beat it is. Would like to know if it's worth it
XiST - Touch Me
Found sound percussion in this one.
Let me know what you think.
Im still producing this one, Stuck with a mixdown issue at the moment.
help me out niggas i shitted up 4 covers for the next EP which one to use or does everything suck
No specific genre I'm sticking to, but the songs I have are
>Silent Hill Vibes
Really digging that Into the Light song, I just wish the beat was a bit louder. I have no problem with the rapping at all, it has great flow, but it just kind of overpowers it a little.
Heavy feels on Can't Sleep Standing. Good shit.
Damn dude, I got real nostalgic listening to some of those tracks. d e c e m b e r is very notable.
>soap opera samples
>chill alternative spacey
i'm digging the bass in this, obviously the mix could be louder. also digging the non-contemporary structure
everything sounds clear in the mix, drums are interesting
'into the light' is pretty cool but vox are too loud in the mix. 'wasp' is chill. you've got good flow and rhythm
Here's one my friends made. Not sure how to describe it other than
>Lo fi, really strange
Cheers buddy, i usually produce drum and bass, not used to doing mixdowns for this style of music, everything's a wee bit different so im struggling, thanks for checking it out :)
Playing in Tokyo this week.

New Mixtape Preview. We make Hip hop and trap beats
Also on Yungcloud
Hot ass beat.
Well it seems to me the best way to promote stuff is by working with people that have similar music.
I guess if you have money to promote your shit or not it wont make a difference if you're not persistent.
I thought about it, but never really got to do it since I prefer spending my money more on gear rather than on likes.
Besides, you can get pretty far with organic likes and listens by simply using the right channels and the right tags.
posted in dead thread last night and got no love
>pretty songs for sad people
here's a sneak peak of a song i'm working on called "voler". tell me your thoughts on it :3

reply to me here or on soundcloud and I'll gladly check your stuff out.
Sophomore Funk is fun as hell, dude. Some missteps in flow at times (lines like "used to beee ballin" near the end of the song for example), but pretty damn decent for the most part. Chorus is catchy and sounds great. Entertaining and charming as hell.
Not as into Daydreams. I feel like it's lacking an obvious concept or theme to circle around. You obviously have talent, just gotta focus your energies on to a topic more I think. Still a really solid track though, dude. Just trying to give some constructive feedback.
>Recent song I made with a friend

sad boy songs, instrumentals, idk just tell me what you think
Casual art and music discussion is asinine bullshit, it boggles my mind that communities devoted to art and music actively devalue the only people worth a damn in their community, the people actually making art. It could not be more true that 90% of this shit board is here as a fucking fashion statement.
Go up to people on the street and ask them of they use youtube or soundcloud more? Of course everyone uses youtube more!
Youtube is not just for whiny nerdy gamers as unfortunately this makes up the sharing people who share their channels online, but we need to change this and share out music channels as well on here.
