What is your favorite track on Blackstar and why is it Dollar Days?
Lazarus > Blackstar > I Can't Give Everything Away > Dollar Days > 'Tis a Pity She Was a Whore > Girl Loves Me > Sue
if i'm allowed to count dollar days/i can't give everything away as one track, which is what i have been doing since they transition into eachother so seamlessly, then definitely that
if not then the title track
I should defend myself by saying that I don't think there's a single less-than-great track on the album. Blackstar is his best work since Scary Monsters, maybe neck and neck with Heathen.
For sure "worst on an album of good songs." I prefer the version of it on Nothing Has Changed.
No exaggeration, but deffo the greatest album Bowie has ever dropped. Probably one of the greatest albums ever made.
