>An electronic/post-punk trio purporting to be from the world of A Clockwork Orange
that sounds fedora as hell
pretty sure otomo yoshihide has done this
that's just Swans farn
not sure about the octet thing but Asa-Chang & 巡礼 could fit. haco's stuff too.
>A progressive rock drummer, an acid rock guitarists, a no wave bass player and a female sax player walk into a bar...
That or take This Heat, early Sonic Youth and Throbbing Gristle and that is the dream band I would listen to.
Overall 6/10 (pretty good, all things considered) with the occasional 10/10 track.
8/10, one 10/10 album. Would probably be one of my favorite bands.
>Post-shoegaze with Godspeed-tier 20-minute songs.
Shoegaze+Rap+Ska+a pinch of thrash metal
Bunch of guys dressed up in Janitor outfits with goatees and shaved heads.
Entire theme of concerts and props are cleaning product based.
Each album is a cleaning pun
Each song name forms a large cleaning process with a simple back story.
Example-1st song named bleach 2nd song named toilet brush. Album was about cleaning toilets all along.
They call themselves the Bleach heads
>You're fucking disgusting.
hey man that was just uncalled for desu
Black metal band but all the vocals are replaced with yodeling
would just sound like modern swans
most people would just listen for the novelty and to be all like "hey guys this is so random amirite" and their actual musical talent would be sadly overlooked
they'd release one amazing album and then get boring and predictable but keep going for years and years regardless
my cousins would love them
they'd be hailed as the most exciting new development in rock music, accolades everywhere
and they'd deserve most of them
suburban weeaboos give them a sort of cult following but literally nobody else cares
they'd get accused of racism at least once in their career
i would fucking love them and i guess you would too
nobody else would really give a shit though
>Slow, crushing no-wave/noise rock band where the frontman performs naked
>Vocals are distorted animalistic grunts and screams
this is all literally just early swans
i mean admittedly gira doesn't have that outfit but everything else is a match
great idea desu
pitchfork would love them but they wouldn't really be very good
every review of any of their projects would feature the word "subversive" a minimum of three times
A Japanese hard rock, punk, and power pop band formed in the late-1970s and is a major influence on the course of modern J-rock and pop. Think Ramones music with Clash lyrics and a distinct personality sense of humor that sets them apart from the other groups of their day and challenges the established Japanese pop industry at the turn of the 80s.
One of those typical lost classic 60's psych bands, but the leader is a native american beatnik that plays church organ, they create a freak folk masterpiece album in 1963 but are completely forgotten.
>consists of indigenous drumming styles, wood wind instruments, and ambient tape loops of nature. Maybe some synths thrown in there for good measure too.
A tall browless and pale guy with a feminine haircut and 3 of his childhood friends playing indie-folk music for the sake of playing music and not for fame
would torrent album from some shady site
Under the Sea
deep house/ambient with heavy use of samples from underwater recordings and old spongebob episodes, tape loops included, has ween vocalist feature
