>start by stating your fav music video and your least fav album :D
Fav clip: the perfect drug
Least fav album: The Slip
So what are the odds of the non-NIN material coming this year being the rumoured Fight Club musical? It popped up in the news again a while back. It's probably just HTDA right?
Best video is Gave Up, the one from the broken movie, not the one in the studio.
Least favorite album is social network soundtrack if that counts. It just sounded too "beep boop listen to my synthesizer" to me.
Posted this in the last NIN thread but it 404'd soon after, so here it is again. What d'yall think of this article?
haha I was there when you posted that! I remember clicking the article thinking it might be a comparison to the literal bible lol.
it's interesting! I haven't heard that album (the holy bible) so I guess now I'll have to check it out and see for myself :D
is it gorier than, say, a Saw movie?
(Also how does it compare to the Happiness in Slavery vid? Coz that's not gory at all imo)
I want to watch it haha, just never got around to
It's more "real" feeling than a saw movie, cause it's all like VHS and shit, and Gave Up is by far the "goriest" of them. It's pretty gross, and it gets the rap it deserves.
Actually I do like the ghosts stuff, there's only two or three tracks pulled from ghosts. TSN had way more "LISTEN TO MY SEQUENCER!" than ghosts, ghosts had more banging on stuff and making noise which was cool.
Pls do it's one of my favs
Only a couple of tracks are as heavy as TDS though
It relies more on uncomfort and tension to build up abrasiveness
Still agree with about everything in that article, NIN fans should check it out.
Also, does /NIN/ like Prick? His self titled album had like half the tracks produced by our god and saciour T-Rez, sounds quite a bit like TDS.
>using a reaction picture of trent to voice distaste against apple
this is his best album since Fragile
Alright I haven't listening to any NIN albums beyond With Teeth when it came out besides a couple track from Ghosts which I remember liking.
What's the best post 2005 NIN stuff?
My pre 2005 ranking goes:
Downward>Fragile>Broken EP>PHM>With Teeth
I'd say it was Hesitation Marks>The Slip>Ghosts>Year Zero but a lot of people might disagree with me. Either way that's just my opinion, and I do like YZ, just not as much as the others.
also oh shit that picture will never not make me laugh
it's day seven hundred and forty nine. The last time I've seen sunlight was at least two years ago. I haven't stepped foot outside my desolate basement for as long as I can remember. Human interaction comes only in the form of 4chan's /mu/, I don't even know if I have a real family anymore. All that I can see is the sinister light of my Windows computer desktop; maybe civilization has stopped existing and I am all that's left.
