Most folk punk fans are pretty autistic
My favorite genre.
>genres I don't like
I'm high enough on the spectrum that I feel like I might as well not have it, but being that I'm still technically on the spectrum all of this still ends up effecting me and making me feel like shit. I'm certain the reason I have friends is that I don't tell anyone that I have Asperger's Syndrome. If I said anything, I'd suddenly become a charity case to them.
I'm PDD-NOS and ADHD, and I like post-hardcore, jangle pop, deathrock, and noise rock

I know that feel

Legitimately, most post-punk bands like Devo and XTC. Not an insult to those bands though, it's a good thing.

and I know that feel, too - I graduated from a decent university and was in the Peace Corps, and once in a while I succeed in picking up a girl, but I'd never tell anybody about my diagnoses because I can't stand the thought of them seeing me like that
I can't stand how awkward I am sometimes, though, and every now and then I piss somebody off so much that they hate me, and I usually have no idea what I did

Yeah, I've become estranged from many friends because I used to have pretty poor impulse control and didn't always think before I spoke. I've gotten better with it though
