In the air is literally the 12 most beautiful minutes in music, no, the most beautiful sound ever created. I can't believe how something can be so powerful, beautiful and moving while it's just textures and piano notes.
Post your favorite sounds in music.
Haven't heard that album in a long time but I listen to Radio Amor regularly, it's also very good.
here's a fact
listening to aphex's rhubarb loop song is worth more than listening the whole tim hecker discog

that's what i thought
plebs was somehow definitely a word that i saw coming in a tim hecker related thread
did you tweens get triggered by the simple fact that tim hecker isn't as good as his idols like eno and aphex?
tim hecker is a prime example of less popular artist doing stuff not as good as the more popular artist that influenced them

also his album covers are basically homages to his favorite glitch/minimal/ambient musicians
a true sign of a lack of musical personality

Personally after like 30-40 listens I am starting to appreciate In the Fog more, especially In the Fog I. The whole album is probably the most beautiful electronic music I've ever heard. I like Amor and was intrigued by Virgins but Ravedeath has a very special quality to it as far as Hecker's discog goes.
Looking forward to his new record later this year, certainly the most interesting electronic artist for me at the moment.

what does hecker do beside imitate aphex twin, brian eno, eluvium and stars of the lid?
