I'm a big Bowie fan but Grimes rubs me the wrong way. I think it's because I feel she's copying his shtick. I like the song Realiti, but not much of the rest. Bowie had the music to back up the image, and dropped the costumes after a while. I wish I wasn't so turned off by her.

Not even a big Grimes fan but I've been recently digging Art Angels (a lot more than Visions). For my taste her poppier singles have always been her strength and her more strange songs generally come off a little cringey so this last album was a good step for her. Well produced, catchy tunes with some subversive lyrics makes for her best output yet IMO regardless of image and fanboyism.
