Everything she releases has just been pure amazing, bar the cover of Half The World Away of course.
But I'm an Oasis fan anyways.
I hope this is her big year, she's really good.

this qt
there's a band from the great lakes region who went out to the desert to record their first album. it's going to be huge. The band is called The Owen Wilsons and the album sounds like Spiderland done by outsiders. Screencap this post

>when you see some unknown female musicians on some social media and you look up her age and she is like 30 and still hasnt made it
should of sucked dick.
>>61889210
Some people don't necessarily want to "make it" though. Some people just like to make music. I don't know who the person in the OP is though but not everyone wants to be a big star.

>desert
its been done
>Kyuss' first line-up consisted of vocalist John Garcia, guitarist Joshua Homme, bassist Nick Oliveri and drummer Brant Bjork. The band gradually built a local following in Palm Desert, California and frequently performed at parties in and around the isolated towns of Southern California's desert areas. These impromptu and predominantly outdoor shows, referred to locally as "generator parties",[2] consisted of small crowds of people, beer drinking, and the use of gasoline-powered generators to provide electricity for the equipment.[8] Homme commented that playing in the desert "was the shaping factor for the band" noting that "there's no clubs here, so you can only play for free. If people don't like you, they'll tell you. You can't suck."[2]

Her name is Aurora, she's 19 years old and is from Norway. Her voice is amazing at what it can do, and she sounds even better live. Her music can be described dark but with a sense of happiness to it.
I think the main appeal to her though is that she's really anti-social/awkward and is a naturist type girl.
She did a cover of Oasis' Half The World Away which gave her prime time coverage.
This is my favourite song of hers; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kS65TbKjeU

this has got to be some viral marketing bullshit, right? she seems pretty generic to me. can someone convince me otherwise?
This qt
>>61883770
she already blew up
>>61889386
Nobody can convince what you like and don't like. She's a breathe of fresh air and sounds completely different from your every day mary sue.
I don't see how anyone can't like her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83lowKvh5O4
Foliage
>>61889627
fair enough. I guess I can't really put to words why I find it generic. there just isn't anything pulling me back to her music after I listen to her.
>>61889976
Oh it grows on you, once you give all her songs a listen you'll find one that you'll like, then after that, she's trapped you.
>>61890012
nope, sorry. I've given her a chance and I strongly disagree.
>>61890071
Don't worry, the next time you'll sleep, she'll be there.
Realistically, I could see this kid from my city getting famous. He's been around for a while now hanging with celebrities and acting in Disney shows and shit throughout his youth but I think this'll be his big year.
I remember people in the neighbourhood were raving about him years ago because he got a part in Lion King as Young Simba when he was like 8.
Now he's 19 and he makes R&B pop shit, but his voice is really fucking good. He's been racking up the YouTube views for the past couple years and I reckon he'll become a household name soon. He's starring in American Crime now too.
