Zarieeka, but it happened something similar with NYC Ghosts and Flowers, it's not that great as an album but the review is prime cringe material.
iirc the actual text of that ulver review could be summed up with "I expected a coil ripoff and they did something else so it was bad" but with more trademark pitchfork pseudo-intellectualism. that said I think there were a lot of legitimate complaints they could've leveled against that album.
March Madness is a certified banger and a 10/10 track and maybe a handful of other songs are pretty good too (peacoat, turn on the lights, honest, news or somthn, i serve the base) but the overwhelming majority of his stuff is fucking garbage, true
Eh, the scores are definitely inflated but I'd say he's the best trap artist. Fun songs and good beats. At least they're not trying to shoehorn some race relations bullshit into it.
