I mean, power metal is supposed to be cheesy, i know, but black metal is cheesy too and there are bands that take the genre in a 'serious' way (Deathspell Omega).
Is there any Power Metal band like that? Or the genre is full of only fat D&D fucks?

Power metal's themes and lyrical themes are mostly ironic or for fun, but if you really do want power metal that's serious while being cheesy, the japanese power metal scene is where you'll want to check out. the US power metal scene is mostly riffs, euro power metal scene is mostly fun, and the jap power metal scene is mostly serious from a songwriting perspective even if the imagery itself is the silliest.

Check out the latest Galneryus album, the songwriting is topnotch and arguably one of the best power metal albums of all time. X Japan's first few albums are really great. Versailles/Jupiter's good too. Light Bringer's good, Dragon Guardian's good, Cyntia's alright. If you don't mind weebshit or extremely cheesy imagery the entire jap power metal scene's full of relatively serious songwriting.
