Yeah sure but he did a shit job. Those albums were good in spite of him, not because of him.
Bowie never understood guitar music anyway. If he had been left to his own devices without Ronson and Alomar, he would have probably embarked on a career along the lines set by The Laughing Gnome.
I dont understand. How can one album be definitively louder than another? You can just change the volume. I can make a Sufjan Stevens song louder than a Stooges song just by playing it louder
