Kyuss isn't God on Earth, but the reason they are hyped so much is because they pretty much laid the ground work for the genre.

Pic related isn't necessarily metal, but its pretty doom/stoner and very fuzzy. An amazing album in its own right and if you like doom metal you'll probably like this too.

Saint Vitus, Spirit Caravan, Sheavy, Sahara Surfers (More stoner rock tho) are pretty good IMO
