What do you consider some good band names, OP?

I got no problem with any of those names (although NMH is kinda too random and meaningless for my tastse)

The only band names that really bug me are when rappers take the name of someone else (looking at you Rick Ross) or the horribly overdone noun-the-verb fad

Jeff repeatedly uses certain words in his songwriting, often because they have connotations of safety, security, sweetness, or what have you.

he's declined to talk about specifically why he chose NMH, but basically I'm pretty sure he's after the connotations that these words have of calmness and safety. it would make sense, given the role that music has taken for him with regard to being the outlet for his depression, and giving him a reason to keep going. you honestly couldn't find a less pretentious person than Jeff Mangum on earth. he's generally very sincere.
