have you listened this song?
what does /mu/ think about this?
That's not even the actual sample for the beat that'd just some adlib that shows up in like 40 rap songs to date, this and New God Flow have zero things in common behind that one loop and Kanye West
tfw I'm still posting on /mu/ in 2016 and I'll be 26 this year
These tracs all sound like a shrug. Like some guy composed some solid beats on fruity loops and shrugged his way through some hastily writen verse, not the triumphant and rousing Kanye who put out MBDTF. Putting up these tracks on soundcloud also makes it feel anticlimatic. He's handling this very poorly.
nice bait, buddy.
This is actually a good beat... I just can't comprehend how madlib gave this to kanye... the simplicity of the beat just screams for a strong Emcee delivering good bars and well... that's not exactly what Kanye is doing here.
No one knows.
Numerous tracks released in the roll out to mbdtf didn't make the cut, but a few of the songs did.
I'd say songs that were released over six months ago might not make the album, or when they do they'll be different in some way (like the two different versions of power)
He has no control over it. He's never a strong MC but he is an interesting MC when he's pissed about something that's interesting. If he spends 50 minutes rapping about how a running shoe company didn't pay him enough millions of dollars and hurt his fee fees this album will boring as fuck lyrically.
This honestly sucks ass. The mixing is god awful and Kanye and Kendrick aren't saying anything new, original or fresh.
>BUTTT IT HAS KINGG KENDRICK AND YEEZY GOD!!!! AND MADLIB THE GOAT PRODUCER !!! CMON YOUR JUST AN EDGY LORD WHO HATES BASED YEEZYYY!!! I LOVE YEEZY HES SOO GOOOD MDTFF WAS A MODERN MASTERPIECE!!! YOU HAVE BAD TASTE !!
So if that "leaked" tracklist is real all these songs are on the album?
>reddit track list
2. Real Friends
3. No More Parties in LA
4. All Day
7. Only One
10. So Help Me God
This. The beat is the best part of the track but its buried under the vocals. It would have been better as a 2-3 minute track for someone like MF Doom with some type of hook added maybe. Kanye does the opposite here.
Piss on your grave is a Travis Scott track, it's on his new album Rodeo.
I wish I was still that naive.
Some of them were raped years ago. The world is an insanely fucked up place. Just keep your head down and try not to worry about other people. Nothing matters.
>Some of them were raped years ago.
Whoa. This thread got dark fast.
Look, maybe if they're in Sweden or Germany they're being gang raped in the street. But I think most people have a pretty okay, rape-free life. Right? I mean.. rape can't be that common.
Dammit, now you've got me weirdly depressed. Does anyone else take modafinil and notice that after taking it they are easily susceptible to emotions... no, no one else?
This joke has got to die.
>taking modafinil to shit post on 4chan
Each different performance of it on youtube is different, one of them has a completely new piano sequence for example, so I think ye' is still working on it but who knows
>mfw i hear kendrick literally rhyme "lyrical, miracle, and spiritual" in quick succession un-fucking-ironically
i don't even think this is that good
he's rapping better than he has in a long time, but it's missing the perfectionism that i expect from kanye. i know it was delayed but just like everything else he's released lately it feels like he let it out he gate too soon, and it still needs some work.
i guess it's just a throwaway so whatever, but the last GOOD fridays had some of kanye's best verses ever. and he did like 12 weeks worth of those.
>haha madlib is soo epic xDD hes kind of underground too sick beats bra preach haha so epic i also love donuts quasimoto dr doom this beat is illl yoooo xDDD
people can dislike your untouchable meme producers you know
it's just more a kendrick/madlib track
with Kanye trying on some southern flow and speed rapping
it's cool to see, and i think its fun, but i hope its not on ye's album
cause it's just not his sound
cool experiment for him to branch out tho and especially work with kendrick on kendricks new sound
lack of a studio quality version leads me to believe it's actually on the album, as though Kanye is saving a fully mastered, final version to be heard on the album
Songs he's been working on/ released so far:
No More Parties in LA
Feel Like That
/ 01 Wolves 05:01
/ 02 God Level 04:45
/ 03 All Day 05:12
/ 04 Only One (Interlude) 02:00
/ 05 Only One 04:45
/ 06 Fade 04:07
/ 07 No More Parties in LA 06:15
/ 08 SWISH 06:34
/ 09 Heartache 03:40
/ 10 Real Friends 04:12
why do you think someone on /mu/ would know?
in the last GOOD Fridays session there were 15 tracks released
of those 15, 11 didn't make the album in any form
of the rest:
1 of them was a remix of Power
1 of them was an unmastered version of So Appalled
1 of them was a condensed version of Devil in a New Dress
1 of them was Monster
so about 25% of the tracks made it in some form
there will be 6 tracks in total in this series, so if the same proportion make it only 2 of these will be on it
I think we can exclude Facts pretty easily
both Real Friends and No More Parties sound good enough to be on an album but they both feel a little rough around the edges
it seems likely that No More Parties is, at least in part, an outtake from the MBDTF sessions so it's possible it may not make the album
>Wolves and Real Friends reflect eachother from either end of the album
>After Wolves sets us up, the runs of tracks 2-5 and 6-10 both takes us all the way up from aggressive and hyped up to calm and reflective
it would make a classic album nigga
>Kendrick actually rhymes "spiritual" with "lyrical" and "miracle"
if facts ever makes it onto an album, i'll kill myself and upload it to dailymotion
Good, but Real Friends was better. I've probably listened to Real Friends every day since it came out. I can't see myself listening to this as much.
The beat is good but theres a bit too much talking going on in the samples. The lyrics are clever but not really deep.
