ITT: Fuck you I liked it.
Post stuff /mu/ hates, bully free zone pls
I mean it's not great but I like it.
Literally every Incubus album but the first and last two.
I think you'll find a lot of people on here like them. I really like Undertow and mainly AEnima, plus a few songs on Lateralus.
/mu/ likes Weezer, Pinkerton does get a lot of hate though and yeah, you won't find much love for Raditude.
I'm not completely blind to it's faults but I don't think it was as bad as everyone else said it was.
This board used to LOVE foxygen and then they make one bad album and a few bad decisions and now you pretend that their good albums never happened.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't love this album just as much as I did when I was a young teen.
I still love it
Definitely their best by far
Also Cherry Bomb for me. It's one of my favorites
What's mu's opinion of this?
I liked it on release and it's still a guilty pleasure of mine
This album is literally a masterpiece
LITTLE GUITAAAAAARS SING TO MEEEEEEEEEEE
First three albums are great.
The recordings are kind of shit compared to other albums they've cranked out over the years but it still remains one of my favorites.
I don't know why people didn't like this, the only bad song in the trilogy is Nightlife.
Everytime I listen I like it a little more
I like most of their music before Blurryface, though I do enjoy some Blurryface songs
My favorite Green Day song is Longview. I don't like American Idiot, nor 21st Century Breakdown. I think that those albums are so Underrated.
I don't tell normally tell people I'm a huge bluegrass fan, specifically of John Hartford, and as a consequence, Norman Blake. His fiddle and banjo playing blows me away, and he was funny as fuck. Norman Blake as well
they have the worst fanbase music has ever seen
>Fuck you, I like currents.
Seriously though, I dont get the hate either. Its easy to listen to, entry level sub /mu/core at best, but there's worse shit on here that gets praised daily
in my top four for aoty
Still one of my favorite albums. Love every minute of it.
ikr i think /mu/ just loves to hate popular shit because they all wanna feel like special snowflakes. I mean your entitled to your opinion and all but like nobody here talks good about anybody really mainstream unless they're kanye, kendrick, or radiohead
I've been listening almost to only this album since it's release, and then i saw them live and loved it even more.
Fuck you /mu/
I know. It's Korn. But my dad and I used to listen to them all the time. They're basically loved for nostalgic reasons.
And in addition to Linkin Park, all of these guys' stuff
Marina is considered tumblr tier shit every time I bring this album up on here but I legitimately think it's really good
Please tell me others feel the same way about this
this is their best album
nevermind > in utero > bleach
future is amazing. ds2, monster mixtape and now the purple reign mixtape are GOAT
I don't really listen to RHCP that much anymore but I like this one still
these are pretty good too
Icelandic Mumford and Sons
I don't know if /mu/ hates Muse as a whole or only that particular album, but I love Origin of Symmetry
Fuck you guys. I love this album.
I dunno, I don't come here much but you guys seem to hate anything that isn't meme rap and hipster shit from what I can gather
But damn this is a feelsy song.
I'm a fan of even their new stuff, but this album is my fav desu
The Division Bell
Is as good as The Wall
Fuck edgy Rogerfags
Some of the tracks on disk one are pretty weak, especially "You and Me" and "Let's Roll", but what is good on the album, I think is really good. Disk two is fucking great, and only hindered by some of the lyrics.
got into hollywood undead when i was 14 and a faggot
never let go
It's one of their best imo
That album rules
fucking masterful songwriters
Devo is one of my favorite bands. Everyone should like Devo
I recently got stoned with some friends and revisited this. Great riffs. But the singer-guy's voice was so.... I just didn't remember it being THAT bad. It was hard to make it through the whole album. He sounds like he has a cold— forever.
Anytime I've ever brought them up I just get shitposted and stuff like
>Ya the new dreamtheater album is pretty good
>It's not metal enough
>Band is bad and you should feel bad
I've never had one positive response about them here.
I love this fucking album so much
WHOS WITH ME
Dance Gavin Dance Syndrome
They released one album /mu/ (incorrectly) deamed as shit and suddenly they're awful.
Before CE Colors was circle jerked to hell and back here.
Although I don't think the metal generals ever liked them
American Idiot is one of my favourites. It's underrated as a Green Day album.
Literally one of my favourite bands. Not even ashamed.
Fantastic albums/bands. I've always unashamedly been a huge metalcore and deathcore fan.
Still metalcore though. I understand where you're coming from though. Greg Puciato has an incredible voice. He's honestly in my top 3 amongst Thom Yorke and someone else.
I like this better than Lonerism
Love all of it to this day.
A personal favourite band of mine. Love them and PTH.
Yeah I know mate. I didn't post them in the first place.
I really don't care. I have nearly 10k songs. It's not as if there isn't variety.
basically every brand new album but luckily this one scared away many tumblrinas
The "deep" lyrics maybe? I saw them once and a good third was pic related
That's the ironic thing about tumblr alternatives. They all try so pathetically hard to be different. There was a pic that was circulating around 4chan for a while. It explained the phenomenon.
Something along the lines of trying so hard to be different and they all end up looking like clones of one another.
I dress like a normie fag anyway so what the fuck would I know.
I agree. I've always been really turned on by alternative girls. Probably why I always ended up with them. They generally all have mental issues though. I've only been in two serious relationships and both of them suffered from depression, anxiety, anxiety attacks and both cut themselves often. The first girl was incredible, second was the psycho feminist I mentioned. I don't know what I was thinking.
Would you like a tour pham?
I agree with these.
pic related and self titled I still listen to this shit from time to time
>mfw friend said TSSF was somewhat metalcore
I-it's not right?
My friend gave that to me for my 9th birthday. First actual album I ever listened to beginning to end.
Don't like it that much anymore, but I haven't heard it in a good long while either. I used to love the Red Hot Chili Peppers a lot.
My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
My Chemical Romance - Danger Days
Bullet for My Valentine - Venom
Bullet for My Valentine - Scream Aim Fire
Rise Against - The Sufferer & The Witness
Rise Against - Appeal to Reason
Asking Alexandria - From Death to Destiny
Whitechapel - Our Endless War
Parkway Drive - Killing With a Smile
I am ready for the hate.
My taste hasn't matured that much. I even still rock the emo haircut, although not dyed nor straightened, all at age 22, almost 23. Everyone seems cool with it for some reason, I feel like an exception at this point.
Tbh, I love this album because of the filler songs. Idk why, but for songs that sound blatantly like throw away songs they are still really solid. Wet Sand is probably my favorite Chili Peppers song of all time.
Pic related is their best album, but I think their newer stuff is pretty good too
>6/10 (Define the Great Line and Lost In the Sound are both 7.5 tho)
5.5/10 (Decemberunderground is better tbbqh)
6/10 (not as good as self titled)
Good, finally someone who gets it. I like poppy music, but not pop itself. Plus, I am a sucker for dramatic music. And I'd like deathcore if it wasn't flat out ridiculous. Where as Whitechapel still is a little ridiculous, I can enjoy their stuff.
Ive talked with the band before. They are all cool guys, and I'm pretty sure that the only reason that the drummer (Sean) dosent do more singing is just that he dosent want too. The reat of the band is pretty open to it. They put on a good show
Absolutely loved this mix tape, still bump to it on the daily
