Yeah his songs do sound similar, I find reminiscence of George Harrison's solo career in his work so I find Demarco's music enjoyable. His image isn't that bad, the only thing that bothers me is that it comes off as fake or forced at time.

I think he's quite good at what he does. Simple, catchy, upbeat pop songs. He's like Kurt Cobain in that sense, both make songwritting seem very easy and overall all of their tracks seem to come out pretty neat.
