Can we agree this is probably the ugliest fucking album cover ever?
>the baby in the bikini
that alone ascends it from shitty to hilarious
Wow, this cover is so deep
you plebs prob cant even fathom the meanings behind it
Reverse nicest guy you will ever meet / twisted fucking psychopath.
Also every fucking day. Every single fucking day when i open my music player these 3 little faggots just sit there and show me these stupid surrealistic homosexual poses.
I must be the only person in the world that digs this cover.
Heathen is a better album with a better cover, but Reality's cover art is cute, and ironic. It fits for an aging rock star.
This one is easily his worst cover art. The album is bad too.
>dog sniffing Death's ass
>baby in a sequin bikini getting ready to fight
>twisty bendy upside-down thong man
>a naked goatman pointing right at us
>curly-worthy necked lady jutting her head out (her hand is also behind Death somehow)
>pig-head toddler in leggings and hooker net-top getting sassy
>happy, sneaky, concave belly pigman
>bald woman taking a shit behind him
10/10 conceptual masterpiece.
i hate that her fucking feet are visible just BECAUSE SEX SELLS MORE ALBUMS THE FUCKING SLUT REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
You can make an ugly cover, but calling this ugly would be a compliment
Even if you don't like the album for some stupid reason you can't really say that that is in any way a shitty album cover. Minimalism at it's best, very memorable and fits the mood of the album perfectly.
And now I realise that I probably just got baited hard
The artist gave it to the band as a mock-up and asked for feedback, the band liked it so much they insisted on using it as-is. The artist really didn't want them to but couldn't convince them, so no other version was made and the artist chose to be uncredited to save the embarrassment.
Amazing collection of recordings though.
Their songs all sound the same, their albums sound the same. It's nice to listen to when you're in some kind of opiate induced haze, but at some point a band deserves heavy criticism for just sticking to the same thing album after album.
I guess shitty album covers go with the aesthetic though
if mixtapes count, there's a million
this album is criminally underrated. The only reason most faggots on here wont listen to it is because of the cover
cgi everywhere, shitty eminem, bad font choices, bad name
Says the guy that wants someone to recognise his job which shouldn't even relate to graphic design anyway
I actually work in graphic design and almost never work on fucking album covers. Not only does it pay like shit, it's a joke to have them in your portfolio. Try taking on a rebranding project for a corporation or festival materials and promotions
No, this is one of the few punk covers that actually succeeds at being offensive and stands by it. Much better than edgy pentagrams and guts. The point is to stir up shit politically and they had the balls to actually do it.
what was it with metal bands and ugly cg covers. This didn't even look good back when it was released
>that flat background
>that bulge (?)
>still not loaded
Reality is pretty good, a solid record, nothing amazing although New Killer Star is one of my favourite Bowie tracks.
Hours is very drab, dull "adult contemporary" stuff, weak songs throughout. One of my least liked Bowie albums.
Every Oasis album cover is almost good but they're always really washed out. someone needed to color correct that shit.
Looks like something from James Ferraro
... i want to like it, i really do
Metal will always win this contest.
>the only time i've ever seen anyone other than me post one of my favourite albums of all time is in a fucking ugly covers thread
this is just depressing
i think i need to lie down
Some background: this album was released by Geoff Tate's band calling itself "Queensryche" during the time window after the band proper kicked him for being a violent, alcoholic asshole and before they got a court order ordering him to stop using the name Queensryche because he didn't own it anymore. The "FU" is in reference to this whole debacle, making this album cover not only terrible, but also a tangible product of a bald grown man in eyeliner throwing a hissy fit because his friends wouldn't put up with his bullshit anymore.
>Implying Dawn of the Black Hearts isn't a GOAT cover
>We want the Back Street Boys audience
i love the font. wish the art was atleast a similar style
