come back when you are have been graduated kid
When I was about 17 IIRC
In Utero is great. Bleach is pretty nice. Nevermind is nice too, but the public only like two songs on it and they consider it a masterpiece.
Freshman year when I listened to In Utero and then Bleach. Then I watched Soaked in Bleach. Now I like Nirvana. They were way better than the other bands trying to do the same or similar things at that time.
I dunno.

I thought Nirvana were ok when I was young but all the dadrockers and "special snowflake" kids soured them on me. But I listened to Nevermind one day and it's a solid rock record. Wouldn't say it was amazing but it's alright.
However it's about context really. I imagine if you were a kid in the early 90s who had only been exposed to top 40 pop and glam, it would have blown your mind. But to us jaded fucks on /mu/ who know all about the hardcore/noise rock/indie bands that influenced Nirvana, then it's not the greatest thing ever.
