Anyone know of any "upbeat" ambient music? It's a stupid word to use but I'm sure you get what I mean.
I like me some depressing ambient but sometimes I don't want to kill myself. Even Music for Airports is a bit too airy and sad. pic unrelated

Eleh - radiant intervals

Good stuff. This fits.

The pic might be unrelated, but it's pretty stunning. If I had a better attention span, I would remember to bump this thread from page 10 in return. Thanks, OP.

I am not OP, but the artist that made that is called Chris Foss. He makes amazing 70's Science Fiction inspired painting (most of them centred around one space ship).

Fantastic.
What about something really sad?

If you like that here is some more. Watch a documentary called Jodorowsky's Dune. The art is by Chris Foss for this film adaptation of Dune that never got made.
Voices From The Lake - s/t
The tinge of techno in the sound really helps with the whole "more upbeat" thing.

My friend makes some stuff like this, he's actually pretty well known in the ambient tape community or whatever: https://kylelandstra.bandcamp.com/album/unshared-properties-vol-i-iv

Holy shit I think listening to the first track on this album, Night of Pure Energy, is setting of Synesthesia. I am getting lots of tastes.

... Are you serious? You find Eleh and Éliane Radigue upbeat?
I like their work a lot, but they sound completely unemotional to me. Once my brother came into the room as Trilogie de la Mort was playing and he found it depressing.

I dunno man people interpret thing differently. I find it blissful.

Upbeat was a shit word for me to use and I knew it but people seem to get my drift. "Not depressing" works as well. I don't find those suggestions depressing.
