Oasis isn't a hard band to get into by any means. I suggest getting Definitely Maybe and (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, they're the two "essential" ones.

DM rocks more, MG is their most popular.

The rest of their discography is wildly hit-and-miss, each album having a few good songs and a lot of filler — except for Dig Out Your Soul maybe, which is a pretty good psychedelic album.

Listen to their first two, if you like drugged out rock music that is a fucking wall of guitars listen to be here now.
If you like a mix of it all listen to the Masterplan.
Don't bother with 2000s oasis outside of a few songs. It's shit, and depressing a band fell that hard.
