Which Bowie songs do you guys think deals with the topic of homosexuality?
Explain why you think that in case it's not obvious
None really comes to my mind. A lot of people would say John I'm Only Dancing, but even though there's definely some faggotry on the sound there, I had a totally different interpretation of the lyrics.
Queen Bitch is definitely about a gay guy losing his (ex?)boyfriend to a transvestite or at least to some really effeminated gay man, I don't see any other way of interpreting this one
>I had to ravish your capsule, suck you dry
bowie is sucking a dick
>Feel the teeth in your bone, heal ya head with my own
now they're sucking each other off
>Snake it, take it, panther princess you must stay
snake his dick into the butt
it used to be thought the 'velvet goldmine' was an asshole but that was debunked
i take it to mean that this lad is a source of comfort to bowie - soft and sweet like velvet
Also not the entire song, but
>A cop knelt and kissed the feet of a priest
>and a queer threw up at the sight of that
Any thoughts on that? Is it a take on police violence against ''queers''?
