Which band/artist is the Pokemon of music?
>1st album is objectively the best
>2nd album is also amazing but not quite as good as the first
>3rd album is the band trying way too hard and as a result it's just not very good
>4th album basically just shits all over the band's legacy
>5th album is an attempt at a new sound but fails miserably
>6th album is an attempt recreate the sound of the first two albums but nowhere near as good
>being a genwunner
get out of my fucking sight.
Have you guys ever gone back and played gen 1 other than when you were 6? It's way too easy, the designs are shit, and the game is just broken as hell.
You're always going to like 1 the best because you played it when you were a stupid fucking kid. If you're playing every game ever with the mindset of "how similar is it to that one game I liked when I was 6" then of course you're not going to like any of them as much.
Take off those nostalgia glasses for a sec.
Fucking rad, dude. Though, I'd switch 5 and 4 honestly and maybe 6 last.
I wasn't ever competitively involved in Pokemon, but I used /vp/ a couple years ago as much as I use /mu/ now.
>He's making fun of them for not buying into the hype of when they were kids
Man, I remember the best moments of my childhood revolving around Red and Blue and playing that shitty card game I don't even know if my friends and I ever knew the rules to.
But if you're basing the quality of the game on how much fun you had when you were a kid rather than the quality of the game, then you're just being blinded by nostalgia.
