your drums sound very hiphop influenced and are the best part of the song.

Copy-pasting from the other thread:
>1. Explain why you make music.
Because chiptune gives me a magic feeling of wonder and enthusiasm that I can barely put into words. It's like a wonderful feeling of waking up in the year 2200 to an utopic digital world. Hell, I don't know how to describe. Chiptune gives me an amazing feeling.
>2. State how long you've been making music.
>3. List your 5 biggest influences, musical or otherwise.
Early Slime Girls and early Anamanaguchi, with a chiptune sound that is less free-form and more structured, similar to a punk rock song but in chiptune form.
Also WMD and Azuria have a way of making chill, relaxing chiptune that inspired me on how to make the smooth, chill part of my song.

i make music by tapping my dick on the microphone.
>thx for the support
My new single is out now guys! Give it a listen probably my best yet! I promise you won't regret it I'll be your favourite on /mu/ (:
Suggestions and critics are welcome!!
I don't produce (yet), I just find ultra rare songs of various genres (mostly experimental witch house, but also stuff like neo-medieval, ambient, experimental trap, etc) and upload them.
If you're looking for sounds you've never heard before, check the artists I promote out! I think they deserve more attention.
Hopping on the hip hop train early
>High Quality Rap
Fuck ADHD medication
Raw as hell
>acoustic guitar treated with effects, ambient, warm drone
Just a little experimentation with my acoustic guitar and pedals.
Zabiba Marley y'all
I'll drop some more feedback soon.
I like your synthesizers and drums, but you should add a different progression every now and then, and the vocals need a little work. Mosiac is my favorite so far.
aah good ol' hardcore
Ovenglove is really good! Nice job on it!
Diggin the production and the bars. You my friend, earned a follow.
up's for jolie
>85% lean, 15% fat
>hip hop instrumentals
Some good shit man can't wait for the new
I really wanna hop on a track with you guys. Some of the best rap I've heard in a minute even signed artists.
This is tough! You sharing for rappers?
Still waiting on that collab! Hit me up girl I'm not that far!
You're raw as hell kid I thought you were a white rapper this whole time but nah. Definitely followed.
Yo you killed this shit girl! Tryna work together??
Alexis baby when we finna collab haaaa ;)
Sounds alright my man!
Not a big fan of the trap but you definitely owned that shit. All I'd have to say is try less lyrics, more nonsense/fun to get the party going!
I'd be down to hop on a track like this!
You're really fucking gorgeous
All your music is amazing too. I was listening to some of your older stuff and whoever your producer is really knows what he's doing. You can mad sing beautiful ass voice. Followed
Lol as soon as Alexis Brooke posts it's all over...
>High Quality Rap
Check out my beat gorgeous
> hip hop / trap
> sampled and blue-sy
I make indie rock + post rock hybrid music. I'm really inspired by the new Mumford and Sons record. I've been working on this track for months. I will consider feedback when finishing it. I'm currently working on an album.
>tfw Alexis Brooke will never call you Sweetie
>Drum n' Bass
>Big Room House
>Trap ish, i guess
>Stuff that is not really finished
Tell me what you think, i will return feedback on soundcloud :)
>For fans of Nine Inch Nails
>electronic industrial rock
>not noise drone
>distorted shit from 1993
i don't know what post-electronic is, but i like your work sir, it sounds brutal and agressive, are you 1 guy? or a band?
i'm just fucking around really
>ambient, breaks, pop
This sounds nice but I was hoping for a closer drumbeat
Could use some more changes
Also the voice at the beginning was weird
I like this, it's pretty original, the production is good but could use some more stereo space
Kick too weak tho
I like that the voice isn't mixed too loud
But yeah it's good
Feedback needed for new chill laid back hip hop track thank you any feedback is great feedback, no feedback sucks!!!!
>New York Rapper
Will return any feedback. Every opinion is really appreciated! :)
> psychedelic rock
> post rock
> experimental rock
It's so groovy and soulful.
It's different. Sound quality is solid.
Solid flow B.
Just dropped this EP the other day.
Feedback would be dope.
honestly man, i think your music sounds cheesy and amateurish, but thats just my opinion.
and to elaborate your flow and hooks can sound too forced sometimes like i can tell you're reading from a paper. practice your verses more before you record. your most natural and authentic sounding song is IDG2F i actually really like that song, but keep making music because you do have potential
maaannnnnn this is mediocre, honestly you have good flow but the energy and lyrics are way too underwhelming, but more effort into your hooks, you have a pleasant voice so just work around that.
the thing about you is you dont stand out and you dont make me want to check out more music, there are thousands of talented MCs and you sound like youre going for that underground lyricist kind of sound, go youtube TEAMBACKPACK and check out some of those rappers, youre gonna want to step your game up after watching them, but like i said your main focus should be bars and energy
>house, dance music
older stuff is slowcore/ emo/ bedroom pop
new track out, appreciate any feedback.
giving comments and checking out other soundclouds in the thread atm
>dark ambient trap
although fragmented and incongruent, i like what i hear. the build up on hidden (internal) was ill, but you definitely need a lead in there homie.
hello soundcloud people
can I get some quick feedback on a wip? how is the transition in this section? does anything sound awkward?
the mix is really rough so i'm not really focused on that but that if this song flows
i'm leaving feedback on your soundclouds :)
>you tell me?
returning all feedback and follows. thanks in advance guys
will return all feedback/cc :)
The transitions are good! very smooth. They definitely don't get off track. last one sounded really fun. Do you have the whole song done yet?
hip hop samples and shit the best
>Trap/808 heavy type beat
Alternative rock/ faux emo
also opinion on the pic related as a cover for a single
just trying to do some groovy basslines over some chopped vocals and old jazz samples.
also I return the love and feedback on sc, listening to some of the thread now.
>razor sharp beats folded a million times

Here's my new Alternative R&B track called "Worth It". It has some Toronto vibes, over "trappier" production than what I've previously done. I appreciate you guys taking the time to listen!
This has gotten a pretty good response, hopefully some of you like it too.
I return all feedback!
Enjoy! This is a Future Bass/Trap-ish remix of GTA's Red Lips

>songs about whores

Made a mix of Life on Mars? by David Bowie and one of the songs from Undertale, if anyone could check it out and give me feedback it'd be cool, additionally, if you like it check out my other stuff! Feedback returned

Just uploaded this beat. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
>Instrumental Hip Hop
Godspeed/Aphex twin/Mac Demarco influenced experimental idm? With hip hop influences? I don't know for sure
copy link from profile f.a.m
I really dig this, if I were to change anything it would be to check the pitch of the bass line at some parts, such as 2:39, I'm just picky. Overall good work this sounds very authentic.
Icy is really good, really like the compression, and the bass line reminds me of dilla. Overall really good beat.
Suntory is great, I really like the downtempo, liked on soundcloud
>Experimental hip hop
>new beat tape
this is my first recording, i fucked up the volume in the songs so the first song has more volume than the second one
>Everything in between
Id love some feedback, Ive been kinda clumsy lately.
I dont know if its the idea, bur it got kinda repetitive halfway through, I wouldve put the ostinato to the background instead of just letting it be in the front the whole time
Loved the dissonating tune in Trip and the lyrics as well.
>Just me myself and I, thats all Ive got
>psychedelic of all kind
>Hard Drum and Bass!
Will return all likes, comments and follows!

---Trip Hop / Dark Ambient / Surrealism / Horror / Melancholy / Sadness ---
Inspired by one of the best franchise in survival horror games, this album is a tribute and a personal perspective of this recurring place, following the style of my previous works with sounds that takes you to abandoned but occupied places full of memories and dark influences, from ambient to industrial themes.
I've been making some music in my free time, nothing too special - but I'm sure I have a few tracks that will satisfy some of you, give me some feed back. Oh and shoot me a friend request on soundcloud and I'll repay the love.
Out of all of the songs I personally like Interstellar Highs the most, the song at the bottom.
Returning all feedback
You got some nice scores, I miss one with a nice atmospheric string drop or whatever. If you use fl studio i would love to collab on a orchestra
>High Quality Vocals
if there's any producers out there that collab that hit me up, also rappers too if our styles fit. thanks for listening!
One of the best tracks that has ever been posted in one of these threads.
Ok now I know this gonna sound crazy... BUT
>I have created a new way to make music
Crazy right? Not Really but it's an amazing way to teach AI how to make music through Patterns.
Now This is a 4x4 pattern of some sort and it works fantastic. Each colour here represents a simple riff. If you use ableton you would be easily able to translate what I'm trying to show here. The amazing thing is that if the pattern was to continue it would create an infinite piece of music that constantly changes.
I don't know if I'm the first to discover this but I want to get this out there so I am telling you guys straight up. Try it out.
I made this a few days ago using it. I ending the song by flipping the pattern in the middle.
thats just an example of what it can do I discovered it when making this next track
I really want to hear your thoughts on this guys
Popular Covers/ Jazz and Vocals
>spoken word >melodic improvisations
These are rough drafts, really need to work on the mixing.
Yes ofc there is some artist out there what makes experimental music but shit.. My point is and this is my opinion, Music comes from the heart from emotions and inspiration thats music, But yo you do you. keep at it.
Literally made my first beat ever (that doesn't sound like complete shit, mind you)
What could I change? I know there is a lot of room for improvement. My DAW is FL.
Cheers man, my music does come from my heart if you listen to my other stuff. Hence the name Harry Hart.
This newer stuff is on the mark experimental. As in I have been doing tests and trying out new shit.
It annoys me when people say their music is experimental even though it's clear they are just trying to be abstract.
Experimental music is science/math not art.
love your stuff...wish it had a more concrete genre type.
>My first track uploaded to soundcloud
Hope you guys like it!
its hard for me to hear spoken word and not think its corny. The lo-fi(ish) piano has charm though.
Imagining this shit being played through a kids toy piano in a horror movie lol (dope, but for average listening would add more atmosphere)
You need to work on your mix man! When I go back and listen to my beats when I first started I still think they have potential but my mix was all fucked. I think its a common problem. So yea, work on your mix!
You have a niceness in your voice but need a better mic and maybe melodyne until you learn to stay in tune! <3
Nice flow and mix on your voice foof! Msg me on soundcloud and i'll send you some beats if you want
ya I understand the problem you bring up with spoken word. don't really know how to get around it other than removing it.
I also do think it gives the song more dimensions, if that makes sense.
Naah there is no need to focus on mixing yet, Focus on melodies and rhythms for now, no need to exhaust yourself.. It will make it less fun at start.
> beats and instrumentals
Can you listen to my song 'Between Old and October'? It has spoken word. I'd like to know what your thoughts are on it.
Is this sound clown? Am I Soundclown yet?
