>song fades out
>>61761679
I actually like when it's this way. It creates an illusion that unmastered version of the song is endless.
>>61761679
fading out with echo (like in portlandia intro) is cool
not a problem for me, unless it's too abrupt
>>61761749
Wait a minute, Portlandia doesn't have an intro song,
It REALLY depends for me. When you can tell that the band is just sort of going into a jam breakdown kinda thing, it works. It feels like a live take that just went over what they could fit on the album or whatever and so they just let the jams fade out into the sunset.
If it's just a loop or whatever and takes too long or is rushed, my rage is unleashed.

Pet sounds
>>61761711
You know it's actually the laziest way to end a song.
>>61761679
mfw the song isn't ending
I am.
>tfw every track ends with a boring fade out
>>61761764
Yes it does. It's "Feel it All Around" by Washed Out.
>>61762013
>boring
The loops never end once they begin. Remain in Light is infinite.
>>61762035
I've never thought about that, but it makes sense.
My only problem with this album is the transitions and fades
>>61761679
that almost kills this album for me
>Song ends with people in the studio cheering
>song fades out, fades back in and fades out again
>>61762165
THIS
>the pills kick in
>>61762245
>song fades out, fades back in, fades out again, fades back in again, then ends normally
>>61762004
>the song will live forever
>everyone who will ever listen to the song will not
>>61762315
No! I don't want that!
>>61762019
No thats from Jackass MTV 1999-2000, Portlandia theme song was performed by Harvey Danger.
>>61761679
>song ends

TAKE A LOOK AT THESE HANDS
>All instruments come in at the start of the song at the same time.
>song fades in
>its the first track of the album
god damnit

>song ends with producer screaming "holy shit"
>song ends abruptly with someone saying "FADE"
>song is less than 3 minutes long
>>61764936
sounds like jokes
any examples of this
>>61762233
>song ends with someone in the studio screaming "holy shit"
>>61765696
Still the best song on the album
>first song on album is called "Intro"
>>61762341
wew too far
Thanks Holst
>song is titled Untitled
>>61761679
>the melody immediately gets repeated a step higher
>first song is the best and totally different from the rest of the album
WHY ARE MUSIC FAILURE
>>61762165
YES. On Brought to the Water, I feel like they forced that piano in there at the end even though it was completely unnecessary. They were trying to replicate Dream House + Irresistible but they rushed it.
>>61762245
>HAMMER THE NAIL
>HAMMER THE NAIL
>HAMMER THE NAIL
idk for some reason it works there.
>>61764741
Longplayer only patrician choice.

Some Girls Are Biggers than LE OTHERS
>Song fades in
>Song fades out with the same chords in the beginning
>>61765971
>(Something)
>>61766105
Highway 61 Revisited is great
>>61761679
Fuck this faggot op
The worst ending to a song is the abrupt stop.
Fade outs are god, especially when they happen after a rotating coda
>Every track on the album transition into each other perfectly
>They're all distinct as well
>>61765515
It's from Frank Zappa - Uncle Meat
Can't remember which song, though.
>song ends
